My trip to england

Hello my name is Faria Dylan, I am 18 years old and I am in high school

at Haute Follis in Laval. Today I’m going to present you my trip to
England and How did this trip to England allowed me to improve and
discover new things?

First On Sunday march 25, 2018 when I was in middle school we went to
England as part of a school trip to improve our English and to discover the
UK. For the beginning of the trip, we went to my old college at 5:45 pm.
(quarter to 6 pm)

Then We embarked on a ferry at Ouistreham for a departure at 11: 00pm.

And we arrived in the city of Portsmouth in the south of England after a 6
hours of ferry ride.

Since we arrived in the morning, we didn't meet our host families. The trip
was organized in two groups divided in 2 different buses in the morning
one of the groups was going to visit the residence of Henry 8 the hampton
court palace. While the other group went to visit the rugby stadium of
Twickenham with the rugby museum and the afternoon vice versa. At noon
we ate a typical English dish: fish and chips.

In the evening me and my 3 friends met our host family. I could notice that
the houses in England were often stuck together contrary to France and
that the English people like to put carpet everywhere on the ground
personally I found it weird because it must be annoying when cleaning.

In the morning the next day we ate bacon for the breakfast for me I find
that bacon does not really make breakfast

Then during the day, we went to the British museum I didn't expect to like
this visit and after that we visited London by bus and we could see famous
places like Gherkins, Buckingham palace, big ben, London bridge and so
on after that we went in a tea house but we didn’t had tea to drink. the next
day we went to Brighton to buy souvenirs, I bought a pint of beer as a
souvenir and for the last day we said goodbye to our host families and we
went to play cricket in a park it seems to be the equivalent of baseball in
England I didn't like it very much because I suck. and then we boarded the
ferry to return to France.

I liked this trip to England because it allowed me to discover the country I

wanted to go to and it allowed us to speak in English in real time with our
families and also to improve ourselves
