Chapter 1
Margret and Zulma would have become best friends and they would hang out
together allot. Zulma would tell Margret about her grandmother and her country.
Ti-Cush and Margret would not be close friends like before because Margret is
not spending more time with her as she would. Margret told her parents that if
they buy her one more North Star she wouldn’t wear them because they are
outdated.
Chapter 5
In the end, Margret would been more interested in Harriet Tubman. She would
want to talk about Harriet Tubman attributes more to Zulma and her friends.
Margret would have been more driven to Harriet Tubman and write about her in
her next black history class. When Margret realize she was late for supper she
would just take her time to go home and even idle on the street.

Chapter 6
In this unfair ending, Margret tried to cut in when Mr.Cuthbert spoke about
Colored People Being on Time. She would try to change the topic and ask foolish
questions so that he can stop talking. Margret would have not been grounded for
long time but she explain to him why she was late and she promise that she won’t
misbehave again .Margret persuaded her mother to let her brother help with the
dishes and also help her with her homework.
Chapter 19
In this disappointing ending, Margret and Zulma was very angry when they heard
the bad news. Margret felt demotivated because she put out so much hard work,
and it seems it come to a waste of her time. Mrs. Billings tried to cheer up the
girls, so that they don’t feel like there is no hope. Mrs. Billings had another plan to
get them back on track. Margret, Zulma and Mrs. Billing spend the rest of the
evening thinking how they change their parent’s mind.
Chapter 20
In this exciting chapter, Margret and her mother had a long talk about being a
woman. Tina told her how to use the pad and what will happen if she doesn’t
change it on time. Tina would buy a pack of pad for her and let she buy another
pack for herself. She taught her the pros and cons of being on your menstrual
cycle. She told her that a female who start seeing her period can be at risk
because she is able to get pregnant.
