Ezra Acayan
Coching was born in Buting, Pasig,
Rizal Province in the Philippines. He is
a comic book creator with 53 comic
book novels to his name. Unable to
finish his studies, he took on an
apprenticeship at Liwayway Magazine
under Tony Velasquez. On Coching, art
critic Alfredo Roces noted that "for two
decades, Francisco Coching's fanciful
stories captured the popular
imagination. Borrowing from the long
tradition of romances and corridos
along with the moro-moro and zarzuela
of the colonial era, Coching reimagined
Philippine history in his enduring works.

a Filipino-Catalan photographer who in the
mid-20th century made important documentary
reports on the lifestyle of indigenous people in the
Cordillera region of the Philippines. He is
considered the Father of Philippine photography.
Based on the General History of the Philippines,
Masferré had become involved in photography in
his early years. He was a photographer who was
self-taught. He was dedicated to taking pictures
of his surroundings, including the native Igorots,
when he returned to his hometown. Instead of
scenery, his pictures are mainly portraits of
individuals.
Eduardo Masferré
is best known for his illuminated landscapes,
which often portrayed traditional Filipino customs,
culture, fiestas and occupations. His pastoral
works presented "an imagined sense of
nationhood in counterpoint to American colonial
rule" and were important to the formation of
Filipino national identity.

Fernando Amorsolo
is a prominent figure of the local
contemporary art scene,
boasting a century-long legacy
of artistry and travel. Known
across continents as BenCab,
he is celebrated for his
figurative works, often depicting
women wrapped in swirling
fabrics, and is equally revered
as an illustrator, painter,
portraitist, photographer, and
printmaker.
