“Whisper of the glowing Ashes”

There’s more to the story than you have heard

It's like a tip of the iceberg, that no one can alter

It's the year of revolution

A new dawn of execution

The letter has been sent

To the homes of soldiers, they went

Demanding their presence in field

To fight in the land of fire as a shield

The news brought tears in their family's eyes

They knew that this could cause their life

They wept and cry like a child

Not wanting to let go of their loved one's life

The soldier remarks to his wife

“My dear my life,

If I can’t make it back home, just so you know it’s not because I didn’t try

My dear.... you are my life, my soul

the last thing in this world that I wanted was to make you cry

Even if the world turns black, I'll be back”

Sweet and scary promises exclaimed by the soldier,

As he headed to the battlefield with his loved one in his shoulder

In the chaos of smoke and fire

There's a man who marched with protective attire

He knows his time is drawing near

He held his gear high, his eye letting out a tear

He said “My promises are futile

In this land so grim and brutal

I'm sorry my dear I guess this might be my end

So long in my life you are my godsend”

He marched down at the broken path

The cry for help and pain is like the symphony of wrath

So horrendous, so hopeless

The soldier walks deeper to the hellish battle

He came across a child who didn’t seem to be baffled

He's covered in bruises and ashes

And possess an eye that have seen all brutal scene that have passes

A pitiful being in the amidst of all the chaos

The soldier who couldn’t bear the sight, took the child

He then brought the child to the evacuation area

On their way there they stumble onto a place so magical

It was so beautiful and fantastical

“Ah...fireflies”

The brave soldier's goodbye to his wife whom he lied

The explosion was drop

In the field of silence, it pops

Bursting so sharp and loud,

ending people’s lives

This is the end of the whisper of the glowing ashes
