Order under Section 3

BY virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 3 of the Judicature Act, No. 2 of 1978, I, Thalatha Athukorale, Minister
of Justice and Prison Reforms in consultation with the Chief Justice and the President of the Court of Appeal, do by this
Order, amend the Schedule of the Order published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 1679/40 of November 10, 2010 as last

(5) (a) by the repeal of the word and figures “2 Mahara” appearing in Column II under the heading of District, and
its corresponding entry in Column IV under the heading of Area of Jurisdiction ;

(b) by the repeal of the word and figure “1 Mahara” appearing in Column III under the heading of Division and
the substitution therefor of the word and figure “2 Mahara”.

(c) by the repeal of the words “The Judicial District of Gampaha shall comprise the Judicial Division, of
Gampaha” appearing in Column IV under the heading of “Area of Jurisdiction” appearing against the
corresponding District of Gampaha under Column II and appearing against corresponding Judicial Zone
of Gampaha, and the substitution therefor of the following :-

“The Judicial District of Gampaha shall comprise the Judicial Divisions of Gamapaha, and Mahara.”
