VICTORIA, an elegant and wealthy mother, sitting across from her daughter, EMMA. Victoria is stern, and Emma looks
nervous.

VICTORIA

Emma, I've been patient with your studies, but this semester, you mustn't get bad grades. Your future depends on it.

EMMA

(looking anxious)

You can't just put this pressure on me. We're rich remember?

(rolls her eyes and exits the room)

HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS - MORNING

Emma walks into the school, looking gloomy. Her best friend, LILY, notices and approaches her.

LILY

(concerned)

Emma, what's wrong? You look so down.

EMMA

(heavy sigh)

My mom's putting so much pressure on me to get good grades this semester. I don't like things being this way.

Lily thinks for a moment, then smiles.

LILY
I know someone who can help you. There's a smart and diligent boy named JAMES. He's not rich, can't afford all those
expensive stuffs that you have but he's a genius. He could tutor you.

LIBRARY - AFTERNOON

Emma and James sit across from each other, studying. Their chemistry is undeniable.

EMMA

(smiling)

You're an amazing tutor, James. Thank you for helping me.

JAMES

(blushing)

It's my pleasure, Emma.

PARK - AFTERNOON

Lily discovers Emma and James's budding romance. She feels torn.

LILY

(to herself)

I should tell Emma's mother about this.

VICTORIA'S LIVING ROOM - DAY

Victoria sits down with James, a stern expression on her face.

VICTORIA

(serious)

James, I'll give you ten million dollars to leave my daughter's life forever. I won't let you have my daughter, I want her
with somebody else!

James hesitates, torn between love and money.

EMMA'S HOUSE - NIGHT

Emma's lover, ALEX, confronts Lily, who is also his sister.

ALEX
(angry)

You told me about Emma and James. You know I can't let this happen.

Lily reluctantly agrees to help Alex.

LILY

Okay, fine but make sure you won't make savage decisions.

(ALEX NODS)

JAMES' HOUSE - NIGHT

James's brother, MIKE, discovers the plan to harm James and rushes to warn him.

MIKE

(desperate)

James, they're planning something dangerous!

You sent

But it's too late. Gunshots ring out, and James is hit in the heart.

ALEX'S HOUSE

LILY

Didn't you agreed that you won't murder somebody, that you won't make savage decisions? What if we both get
caught? ARGHHHH! (LILY PANICS)

ALEX

Oh come on, chill out, I assure you, no one will get caught

HOSPITAL ROOM - NIGHT

Emma sits by James's bedside, tears in her eyes. The DOCTOR enters.

DOCTOR

(hopeful)

He's alive, but in a coma. We're doing everything we can.

Emma holds James's hand, whispering words of encouragement.

EMMA
(teary-eyed)

Please, James, wake up. Everything will be alright.

FADE OUT.

Emma sits in the dimly lit waiting room, her eyes swollen from crying. Victoria stands nearby, regret written all over her
face.

EMMA

(looking at Victoria)

Mom, I need you to understand. James means so much to me, and I won't let anyone tear us apart.

Victoria, moved by her daughter's determination, begins to see the depth of Emma's feelings.

VICTORIA

(softly)

Emma, I didn't realize... I just wanted what's best for you, but I see now that I've pushed you too hard.

They share a heartfelt moment of understanding, as Victoria realizes the importance of Emma's happiness.

EXT. HOSPITAL ROOFTOP - NIGHT

Alex stands on the hospital rooftop, guilt weighing heavily on his conscience. Lily joins him, looking equally remorseful.

ALEX

(voice trembling)

Lily, we can't go through with this plan. It's wrong. We've already hurt James enough.

LILY

(nodding)

You're right, Alex. Let's find a way to make things right.

They both decide to abandon their misguided mission, determined to support Emma and James's love.

INT. JAMES' HOSPITAL ROOM - DAYS LATER

James remains in a coma, surrounded by flowers, cards, and heartfelt messages from friends and classmates. Emma is
there every day, talking to him, believing in his recovery.
EMMA

(tearfully)

James, you have to wake up. I can't imagine my life without you.

The doctor enters, checking James's vital signs.

DOCTOR

(optimistic)

There's been some improvement. He's showing signs of brain activity. It's a positive sign.

Emma clings to this glimmer of hope, feeling a renewed sense of determination.

EXT. JAMES' HOUSE - WEEKS LATER

James is finally released from the hospital, albeit still weak. Emma helps him into his home, where they find Lily and Alex
waiting for them.

EMMA

(sincerely)

Thank you both for coming around and for being here for us.

LILY

(apologetic)

We're so sorry, Emma. We just want to see you happy.

Alex nods in agreement, and they all share a heartfelt hug, marking the beginning of a new understanding.

INT. VICTORIA'S LIVING ROOM - DAY

Victoria, now realizing the importance of her daughter's happiness over societal expectations, sits down with Emma and
James.

VICTORIA

(apologetic)

I've made mistakes, Emma. I see now that your happiness is what truly matters. I'll support your choices from now on.

Emma and James exchange grateful glances, knowing that their love has overcome many obstacles.

EXT. PARK - DAY

Emma, James, Victoria, Lily, and Alex have a picnic in the park, symbolizing their newfound unity and the strength of love
in the face of adversity. They share laughter and happiness, knowing that they are there for each other, no matter what
challenges life may bring.
