    1. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Equivalence Committee met on October 31, 2017 and passed a resolution regarding considering the M.Sc. Applied Physics degree awarded by the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli equivalent to an M.Sc. Physics degree for public service employment purposes. 2. The Government of Tamil Nadu accepted the resolution and directed that the M.Sc. Applied Physics degree be considered equivalent to an M.Sc. Physics degree from the date such degrees were issued. 3. This order establishes educational qualification equivalency for public service recruitment.
