"Imagine" by John Lennon. The fact that how "deixis" works in song lyrics is figured out. Five types of "deixis"
are identified. The lists of how many times each type of "deixis" appeared in the song is made. The investigation
employs the methodologies outlined by Creswell (2001).The fact that "deixis" does a lot in the song "Imagine"
is identified. It makes them imagine a world without borders, questions how society works, and makes the song
sound like the singer is talking directly to the audience. The way it talks about society is the most important,
especially in a song about hope, togetherness, and changing the world. In summarising, this research highlights
that "deixis" is an important role in song writing. It helps musicians connect with their listeners and share deep
ideas through music. The study invites further exploration of deixis across musical genres and languages, offering
