Step 1: Open any browser.

Step 2: Search for github or you can just go to this link “https://github.com/”.

Step 3: Click the Sign up for GitHub and you will be directed to this page.
Step 4: Enter your valid email address.

Step 5: Continue creating a password with guided instruction to make a Strong Password.

Step 6: Create your own unique username.

Step 7: Check the Email preferences and continue.

Step 8: Verify your account.

Step 9: Enter the code that was sent to your email.
 Step 10: You may answer the survey question or you can just skip personalization.
You’re all set, it will direct you to your account home page.

The importance of having an account to Github is it will make your work easily as what the
lesson/module said it will really help you to do your tasks faster. There’s a lot of reason for us
to have an Github account especially we are IT and most of our task are related to computer.
Github is a repository, so we can store our code and files there also we can easily access it
because it is an open source project.
