ARRANGING EATING OUT 2

Before the Meal: Sarah, Tom, and Emily, are seated, perusing the menu as the waiter approaches.

Waiter: Good evening, folks! Welcome to Ristorante del Gusto. Can I start you off with some drinks while
you look over the menu?
Sarah: Hi there! Yes, please. I'll have a glass soda, please.
Tom: I'll go for a sparkling water with lemon, please.
Emily: And I'll have a mojito, thanks.
Waiter: Excellent choices. I'll get those right away for you. Do you have any questions about the menu, or
are you ready to order?
Tom: We might need a few more minutes to decide on our appetizers, but we'll let you know when we're
ready to order. Thank you!
Waiter: Of course, take your time. I'll be back shortly with your drinks.

Ordering Main Course: After serving the drinks, the waiter returns to take their orders for the main
course.

Waiter: How are you all doing? Have you decided on your main courses?
Sarah: I'll try the mushroom risotto, please.
Tom: I think I'll go for the grilled salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes.
Emily: I'll have the chicken piccata with a side of garlic spinach.
Waiter: Excellent choices! I'll get those orders in for you right away.

During the Meal: The friends are now enjoying their main courses and engaging in lively
conversation.

Sarah: This mushroom risotto is divine! The flavors are so rich.

Tom: And this grilled salmon is perfectly cooked. The asparagus adds a nice touch.
Emily: Definitely. Oh, and look at that pasta dish they just brought to the table next to us. It looks amazing!
Waiter: How are we doing here, folks? Is everything tasting alright?
Sarah: Everything is delicious, thank you!
Tom: Agreed. And could we get some more breadsticks, please?
Waiter: Of course, I'll bring some out right away. Just let me know if you need anything else.

The friends continue to enjoy their meal, savoring each bite and catching up on each other's lives.
After the Meal: The friends have finished their main courses and are now considering dessert.

Emily: I'm so full, but that tiramisu looks too good to pass up.
Sarah: I know what you mean. Maybe we can split one?
Tom: Sounds like a plan to me. Waiter, could we get an order of tiramisu, please?
Waiter: Absolutely! Would you like anything else with that? Maybe some coffee or tea?
Tom: Three espressos, please. And the tiramisu, thank you.

After enjoying their dessert and coffee, the friends ask for the check.

Sarah: That was such a wonderful meal. Thank you for suggesting this place, Emily.
Emily: Of course! I'm glad you both enjoyed it. We'll have to come back again soon.
The friends pay the bill, leave a generous tip, and bid farewell to the waiter as they exit the restaurant,
already planning their next get-together.
