Here are some division facts.

When we divide one number with another number, the
number that is being divided is called the dividend and
the number that is dividing is called the divisor.
24÷4= 6
Dividend ÷ divisor = quotient
 The result is called the quotient.
If we divide any number by 1, we get the same number.
3,657÷1=3,657 4,589÷1= 4,589
If we divide any number by itself, the quotient is always 1 .
6,542÷6,542=1 3,210÷3,210=1
We cannot divide any number by 0.
