About Us
Ambitious Condiments Limited (ACL) is a food production company that has been providing
delicious meals, condiments as well as catering services to its customers since its inception
in 2017.
ACL came about when the opportunity arose to seize the markets need for locally sourced,
quality and consistent well balanced food. ACL has since ventured into providing catering
services with a main focus on offering corporate catering services and a healthy meal plan to
schools and academic institutions in accordance with the ministry of health's nutrition
guidelines.
We are also involved in training and equipping kitchen teams with necessary skills set to
produce quality meals.
We are currently involved in the first of many projects where we are provide outsourced
catering services to Sunrise Children’s Garden school, Donholm, Castle Academy, Ruaka
among others.
Findings from a research undertaken brought us to the understanding and conclusion that
there is a division of focus and resources within the school system between academics and
kitchen/catering management. In addition to this, another key finding was the general lack of
flavor in school food, lack of seasonality and having to deal with sourcing of produce and
supplies as well as handling human resource makes running of the kitchen department much
more hectic for schools.
To mitigate the problems highlighted, schools need to separate the kitchen department and
maintain their focus on education. To do this effectively, ACL is proposing an outsourced
catering management model. This entails bringing on board a professional catering company
to run the kitchen department in its entirety, from sourcing of goods and produces, to food
production as well as cleanup and end to end service delivery.
This in turn gives the school as an institution, the opportunity to be able to cater for the
children’s’ learning needs, while a professional catering company runs the kitchen.

We as ACL will come on site to assess the state of the kitchen, equipment present, crockery
and cutlery the staffing model and the current menu. From then we shall tailor make a plan
to be able to implement the vision we set forth with the schools choice of package. After this
assessment we shall draw up a contract that addresses all the various concerns between
both parties.

It is evident that the kitchen department plays a fundamental and crucial role in the running
of academic institutions. At ACL, we consider the kitchen to be the ”heart of the school”
because everybody is in contact or interacts both directly and indirectly with the department.
It is for this reason that adopting the outsourced school catering management model is ideal
as it will greatly contribute towards the efficient running of the academic institution. Having a
team of professionals running the kitchen department will consequently improve the brand of
