and will ensure that any Confidential Information will be held and treated as if it was such
personal data.

4. Whistle-Blowing

DTB is committed to conducting its business whilst upholding high standards of honesty, integrity, and fairness.
DTB expects and requires the same commitment from all employees, suppliers and contractors.

This DTB policy aims to ensure that suppliers and suppliers’ employees and contractors are fully aware that they
should report concerns or suspicions about any wrongdoing, unethical practice or criminal acts on the part of
any employee of DTB. Any information received will be treated confidentially and seriously, in line with best
practice and applicable law.

In line with Kenya’s Whistle Blower Protection Act, you are therefore encouraged to report, using the contact
details below, any of the following acts which you reasonably believe have or will take place:

• An employee of DTB engaging in bribery, corruption or economic crimes as defined in the Anti-Corruption and
Economic Crimes Act, 2003 or any other written law;
• An employee of DTB coercing you (or others) to offer, or soliciting you (or others), or accepting any gift or other
advantage which might reasonably be seen to influence the exercise of their official duties or responsibilities;
• An employee of DTB knowingly directing or counselling an individual to commit improper conduct
• Any criminal offence including fraud or theft
• Any failure to comply with a regulatory or legal obligation
• Any attempt to conceal any of the above matters
