Bala clarified that this directive aligns with the state government's
prohibition of roadside trading in the capital. Effective enforcement
will commence from Monday, March 25, 2024. He emphasised that
traders must vacate the roadside by Sunday, March 24, to avoid legal
repercussions.

Superintendent of Police
In a gesture of recognition and
appreciation, Governor Abdullahi A.
Sule of Nasarawa State conferred a
new rank of Superintendent of Police
upon his Aide-De-Camp, Hassan
Adamu.The decoration ceremony, held at the Government House in
Lafia, witnessed the Governor's endorsement of ADC Adamu's
dedication and service.
Obi further stated that his visit to Nasarawa State was part of a
nationwide tour, during which he aimed to contribute to the support
of people, especially during the fasting period, by assisting in initiatives
such as the sinking of boreholes in various parts of the state.

Inaugural Fishing Festival to
Promote Economic Growth
His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule,
the Executive Governor of Nasarawa
State, proudly inaugurated the Maiden
Edition of the Fishing Festival at
Feferuwa Lake, Assakio in Lafia East
Development Area, on Friday.
The festival's significance lies in its role in preserving the lake's fish
population, ensuring the economic prosperity of the community's
fishing industry, and raising awareness to enhance fishing activities,
thereby bolstering food production and revenue generation.

In a strategic move to enhance
agricultural productivity in Nasarawa
State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A.
Sule, presented a symbolic ? 40 million
cheque to the Azara Symbiotic Farmers
Association Cooperative, marking a significant milestone in the
state's agricultural development.
This financial support, part of the Nasarawa State N500 million Youth
Revolving Funds Scheme, reflects Governor Sule's commitment to
fostering human capital development and ensuring food security in
the region.
