Students and parents are invited to participate in Science Week between January 23rd and 27th. The primary goal is for students to approach scientific problems through hands-on experimentation and investigation. Students can work individually or in small groups to choose a topic of interest, design an experiment, and present their project either in the classroom by January 25th or at the Science Fair. All projects should follow general safety guidelines and clearly explain the experimental process and findings.

It’s time to start working on our Science Fair! This is a major project and the primary objective of this project is to have students approach a problem scientifically. Students will get to think, create, question, explore, observe, investigate, analyze, share, and become young scientists! Science Week will be held between January 23 and January 27. Below is the list of instructions and the procedure on which you should follow:
1. The students will be involved in scientific activities in their classrooms.
2. The students will receive the list of topics covered in the 1st Term for choosing a topic they are most interested in and preparing for Science Fair. 3. They can work individually or in groups (5 students max) to conduct their projects/experiments. 4. Students will first present their projects/experiments in their classrooms so all the presentations must be ready by January 25th. The selected projects will be presented at the Science Fair. 5. Experiments with dangerous chemicals are not allowed and will not be approved for Science Fair. 6. The project can be on a poster which should include an experiment or interactive activity or in a format of experiment and explanation. 7. KS1 students can also prepare their project at home, and parents can record their child while experimenting with the explanation and send the video to teachers by January 25. 8. All the materials and the needed things for their experiments should be provided by parents. 9. KS2 students who will be chosen for the Science Fair to present their projects should have a white gown, goggles and gloves if needed.
