Apostrophes
Guidelines:
If there is one owner the apostrophe goes before the “s”.
If there is more than one owner then it goes after the “s” unless the plu-
ral noun does not end in an “s”.

If the owner has an irregular plural and does not end “s” then the apostrophe goes after
the complete plural noun but before the “s”.

1 This is Janets computer.

2 The lady’s purse fell down.

3 The babys name is very common.

4 Evas shoes are dirty after playing.

5 Annes dad bought a new car.

6 Seven years hard work was necessary to win the competition.
