1. Executive Summary

Napier’s Health Care Solution Jeeva 4.3.2 which is currently deployed at Elbit Medical Diagnostics
(Elbit). Currently, Elbit Management is decided to digitalize the patient reports through eKinCare
software and requested Napier to integrate the Jeeva with eKinCare system. Napier, here by submitting
the proposal for the enhancements requested

2. Scope of Work

Post our discussion with eKinCare and Elbit IT Team, we have identified following as a “Scope of Work”
which covers the list of activities we will be undertaking to complete this change request.

 Scheduler program to exchange the data between eKinCare API to Jeeva.


 Napier will send the required data to eKinCare system by using the eKinCare APIs.
 Napier will develop the application from offshore.
 Napier will handle the implementation activities from offshore.
 Functional and integration testing.
 Implementation and remote training to IT staff.
 Production support and final signoff.

Please refer to “Annexure A” for high level solution.

3. Milestone & Deliverables

4. Delivery Time Lines

Solution will be delivered in 55 business days from the date work/purchase order and payment released
by Elbit. Please find below a list of high level activities:

 Requirement analysis and documentation


 Application enhancement
 Functional and integration testing
 Application implementation and user signoff
 Production support

5. Key activities, Deliverables and responsibilities from Elbit


 Providing timely clarifications to Napier on requirements if any.
 A desktop with Server Connection, Team Viewer and Skype need to be provided by Elbit during
the development and implementation process
 Providing user scenarios for testing the application.
 Availability of required resources for conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training etc.

 Elbit Team will coordinate with Napier for deployment and configuration activities.

*Note: This proposal is valid for 10 calendar days from the date of submission.
Terms and Conditions

 Price quoted is in Indian Rupees


 Payment is subject to 100% advance and must be received within 3 business days after proposal
acceptance.
 All payments are to be made in favor of “Napier Healthcare Solutions India Ltd” by a bank Cheque
or demand draft payable at Hyderabad, India.
 Final signoff must be provided within 3 business days after go-live otherwise it will be considered
as a deemed signoff.
 UAT scenarios must sign off by the customer prior to go-live.
 Standard turnaround time for any sign off is max. 3 business days.
 Taxes and other statutory levies shall be borne by Holy family hospital.

Annexure A - High Level solution

To achieve the above requirement, need to the following enhancements in the existing system.

Backend reporting to the customer (Phase 1):


 Napier will develop a scheduler program with client server technology to fetch the data from Jeeva
system and push the data to eKinCare system by accessing eKinCare APIs on timely manner.
 This scheduler program will be scheduled in one system which is having both the networks Jeeva and
eKinCare.
 Need to add a new filed in the Jeeva database to capture the eKinCare unique identification number
 The process of this interface is follows
o Case I: - Patient without having eKinCare unique identification number
 Once the lab results verified for the particular test, the scheduler program access the
eKinCare API and pass the following information

 Phone Number
 First Name
 Last Name
 Sex
 Date of Birth
 Email id (if present)
 MR Number
 Order Number
 Invoice Number
 Test Results
o Test type
o Test components (multiple)
o Component Name
o Normal Ranges
o Value
 Doctor’s Name
 Date - Sample collected
 Date - Report generated
 The eKinCare API will send back the eKinCare unique identification number.
 The scheduler program will update the eKinCare unique identification number
in the Jeeva database against the medical record number.

o Case II: - Patient has a eKinCare unique identification number

 Once the lab results verified for the particular test, the scheduler program access the
eKinCare API and pass the following information

Registration Process: (Phase 2)

 Napier will modify the following thing in the existing registration function
o Will add one new field eKinCare number.
o Based on eKinCare number will provide a search for patient information.
o This search engine will check for patient information first in the local database if
not find then will check the eKinCare database through eKinCare APIs.
o If not find any data then consider as new registration and continue as per phase
–I

Home Collection: (Phase 3)

 Jeeva will create a stage area to share the following master data. And this data will be
updated on regular basis.
o Branch/center code

 eKinCare will provide an online application to register patient and select the lab test.
Based on the patient type and lab tests selected eKinCare access the Jeeva staging
area and shows the cost to the customer.
 Once the patient is agreed the invoice will be generated and payment will be collected
through eKinCare system.
 After the sample collected from the patient the eKinCare will share the invoice details
along with the test codes and patient information to Jeeva through APIs.
 Jeeva will write a scheduler program to collect that data by using eKinCare API and
stores in to staging area. And there is another scheduler program will transfer the
invoices and patient details to the respective units/branches.
 From there the remaining process will be continued as per phase-I and II.

Assumptions: -
1. Old data corrections or old data uploading to eKinCare is not part of this scope.
2. If the interval of the schedule small duration then the hits to the database server will be more,
hence there may be a chance of database performance issue.
