1. Executive Summary
Napier’s Health Care Solution Jeeva 4.3.2 which is currently deployed at Elbit Medical Diagnostics
(Elbit). Currently, Elbit Management is decided to digitalize the patient reports through eKinCare
software and requested Napier to integrate the Jeeva with eKinCare system. Napier, here by submitting
the proposal for the enhancements requested
2. Scope of Work
Post our discussion with eKinCare and Elbit IT Team, we have identified following as a “Scope of Work”
which covers the list of activities we will be undertaking to complete this change request.
Solution will be delivered in 55 business days from the date work/purchase order and payment released
by Elbit. Please find below a list of high level activities:
Elbit Team will coordinate with Napier for deployment and configuration activities.

The eKinCare API will send back the eKinCare unique identification number.
The scheduler program will update the eKinCare unique identification number
in the Jeeva database against the medical record number.
Once the lab results verified for the particular test, the scheduler program access the
eKinCare API and pass the following information
Napier will modify the following thing in the existing registration function
o Will add one new field eKinCare number.
o Based on eKinCare number will provide a search for patient information.
o This search engine will check for patient information first in the local database if
not find then will check the eKinCare database through eKinCare APIs.
o If not find any data then consider as new registration and continue as per phase
–I
Jeeva will create a stage area to share the following master data. And this data will be
updated on regular basis.
o Branch/center code
o Branch/center name
o Service code
o Service name
o Patient category code
o Patient category name
o Company code
o Company name
o Company tariff code
o Tariff category code
o Tariff category name
o Service cost
eKinCare will provide an online application to register patient and select the lab test.
Based on the patient type and lab tests selected eKinCare access the Jeeva staging
area and shows the cost to the customer.
Once the patient is agreed the invoice will be generated and payment will be collected
through eKinCare system.
After the sample collected from the patient the eKinCare will share the invoice details
along with the test codes and patient information to Jeeva through APIs.
Jeeva will write a scheduler program to collect that data by using eKinCare API and
stores in to staging area. And there is another scheduler program will transfer the
invoices and patient details to the respective units/branches.
From there the remaining process will be continued as per phase-I and II.
Assumptions: -
1. Old data corrections or old data uploading to eKinCare is not part of this scope.
2. If the interval of the schedule small duration then the hits to the database server will be more,
hence there may be a chance of database performance issue.
