How did wants, choices, scarcity, opportunity cost, and tradeoffs affect you during this cavity?

what
would you cut, if you had 200 less than you state amount? Why? What? Would you add if you had 200
more than you state amount? Why?

In this project I had the opportunity to grasp the responsibility to thoroughly distribute my
spending wisely by separating my needs and wants and ensuring the amount of money I use won’t impact
or cause an imbalance for any further payments. After doing much research for this assignment I fully
acknowledge how expensive living comfortably would be with or without self-control. My class was
given a salary as well as a calculated monthly salary used as our expensive living for this project.
Through this project I dealt with the action to make tradeoffs between my needs and wants since
my monthly salary is 2,725. So, with that I made the sacrifices to have no vacations, but I was able to
have short term goals, purchasing a mini pool during the summertime. With much optimism that mini
pool can be a satisfying purchase. Although I was able to find an apartment within the 77077-zip code
area with a total of 1,000 including rent/unities. Which in the end benefited my ability to afford streaming
and gas money since I’m within the work/school area.
If my circumstances were different and I had 200$ less (2,525) I’d reduce the amount and time I
spend on outside food or events. Instead, I’ll put the money towards my savings and emergency fund. As
cheaper alternatives to going out there are variety social events that are free to attend or take about 30$
for pure enjoyment with friends and family.
As for having 200$ more my modified amount would be 2,925 I would choose to adopt a turtle.
With more income I will be able to provide a new tank and their 2-month supply of food. As for why I’d
want a turtle, who wouldn’t. In conclusion, I viewed this project as a good principle to learning how to
keep watch on where my money goes and how it effects the rest of my expenses.
