Q: May I pass on my turn?

A: No. According to the rules, your turn consists of moving or rotating a game piece
and firing the laser. You can't skip your turn on a technicality by rotating the
Pharaoh or Obelisk, and remeber to press the laser button at the end of your turn.
Note: this modifies also rule #3 in the base ruleset of Khet!

Q: When 2 stacked Obelisks are adjacent to another Obelisk, being all of them mine,
may I move the top Obelisk from its current “base” to the other one?
A: Yes.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/258756

Q: How to pronounce Djed?

A: As g in “german” + ye in “yet” (same accent) + “soft” d.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/264740

Q: If due to too many deflections the laser beam get misaligned, do I have to trace
the correct path or is the action nullified?
A: Trace the correct path.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/264730

Q: May a Djed and/or an Eye swap position with two stacked Obelisks?
A: Yes.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/146270 and an Eye moves like a Djed, as
stated in the Eye of Horus rules.

Q: If both Pharaohes are hit at the same time, does the game end in a tie?
A: Yes.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/255614

Q: What happens when a piece, including 2 stacked Obelisks, is hit by more than one
laser beam?
A: The piece, even though it's killed, blocks all the beams. In case of two stacked
Obelisks, just remove the top one.
S: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/255614
Q: A Pyramid is hit by at least two beams: one of them killing it, another one is
deflected and kills other pieces. Are the other pieces killed as well?
A: Yes.

Q: Is there a website to play the game before buying it?

According to this FAQ the following rules change:

Basic Rules

#3: A turn consists of either moving a piece one square in any direction (including
diagonally) or of rotating a piece with at least one mirror 90 degrees (cw or
ccw) without changing squares. A piece cannot be moved and rotated on the same
turn or rotated more than 90 degrees on one turn.
#6: The djed piece can move into a square occupied by an obelisk or two
stacked obelisks or a pyramid of either color; the pyramid or obelisk(s) then
goes to the square the djed piece started from. In other words, the djed piece can
swap places with an adjacent pyramid or obelisk(s), but not with a pharaoh or
another djed piece. Neither piece rotates.
#7: The obelisks have the power to stack or unstack on top of each other. In the
stacked configuration the player may either move the stacked obelisks as one unit
one square (as shown in example A) in any direction or unstack the top obelisk
moving it one square in any direction while leaving the bottom obelisk in its place
(as shown in example B). You may also move the top obelisk onto another
adjacent obelisk. If a stacked obelisk is hit, only the top obelisk is removed from
play leaving the bottom obelisk to remain in its position on the board. You can only
stack once, so there are no triple or quadruple stacks allowed. Only obelisks of the
same color may be stacked.
#9: When the player sends the laser beam around the field, it will stop either on the
wall of the field or on the non-mirrored surface of one of the pieces. If it stops on a
pharaoh, the player whose pharaoh is illuminated loses the game. If it stops on any
other piece, that piece is removed from the board (even if it is the player’s own
piece). The laser is fired only once a turn. The turn is over whether or not a piece is
hit. If due to too many deflections the laser beam get misaligned,
trace the correct path.
Eye of Horus

The beam splitter moves in the exact same way as the Djed in the official revised
Khet Rules of Play.

Specifically, the Eye of Horus can move one square in any direction or one quarter
turn on any turn. Also, The Eye of Horus piece can move into a square occupied by a
an Obelisk or two stacked Obelisks or a Pyramid of either color; the
Pyramid or Obelisk(s) then goes to the square the Eye of Horus piece started from.
In other words, the Eye of Horus piece can swap places with an adjacent Pyramid or
Obelisk(s), but not with a Pharaoh, Djed, or another Eye of Horus piece. Neither
piece rotates.

Particular cases:

If both Pharaohes are hit at the same time, the game ends in a tie.
If a piece is hit by more than one laser beam, it stops them all, before
being removed.
If stacked Obelisks are hit by two or more laser beams, only the top
one is removed.
If a Pyramid is killed by one beam and at the same time deflects other
beams that kill other pieces, they are removed as well.
