LEARNING OBJECTIVE By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Listen to and respond to directions, instructions and procedures.
2. Listen to and respond to spoken, audio and visual texts to compare and contrast,
identify cause and effect, paraphrase and summarise, identify and organise, and
solve problems.
3. Express feelings and give simple descriptions of personal experiences orally.
4. Participate in simple conversations using speech acts.
ACTIVITIES PRE-LESSON Teacher writes sentences with the usage of can ability.
Eg: I can ride a horse
My hobby is riding horse.

The student will identify which one is the modal verb, once they
can identify ‘can’, as it still an orientation week teacher ask them
to write 5 can to show their abilities somehow the teacher get to
know their hobbies and to build rapport with the students.
