THE GRAZING – LAND AND ANIMAL FEED RESOURCES (REGISTRATION AND

MOVEMENT OF ANIMAL FEED RESOURCES AND PRODUCTS) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS, 2022

Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Grazing –

Land and Animal Feed Resources (Registration and
GN. No. Movement of Animal Feed Resources and Products)
327of 2021 (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 and shall be read as one
with the Grazing – Land and Animal Feed Resources
(Registration and Movement of Animal Feed Resources
and Products) Regulations, 2021 hereinafter referred to as
the “principal Regulations”.
Amendment 2. The principal Regulations are amended in
of regulation 8
regulation 8 by deleting subregulation (3) and substituting
for it the following:
"(3) The applicant who operates
with an expired animal feed resources
registration certificate commits an offence.
(4) The Director may, upon being
satisfied that the registrant is still in
operation without a valid certificate, refuse
to renew the animal feed resources
certificate.".

Amendment 3. The principal Regulations are amended in the

Part III heading to Part III by deleting the word “RESOURC” and
substituting for it the word “RESOURCES”.

Amendment 4. The principal Regulations are amended in the

First Schedule First Schedule by deleting the word "(Made under
regulation 5(1))" appearing immediately after the words
"FIRST SCHEDULE" and substituting for them the words
“(Made under regulations 5(1) and 8 (1))".
Amendment 5. The principal Regulations are amended in the
of Second
Schedule Second Schedule by deleting the words "(Made under
regulation 8(1))" appearing immediately after the words
"SECOND SCHEDULE" and substituting for them the
words “(Made under regulation 7)".
