Why is an Application Letter important in applying for a job?

The application letter serves as an introduction and first impression for the
employer. By emphasizing your qualifications and passion for the role, you
can attract the employer's attention and generate interest in your
application.

Every job application is different, and the cover letter gives you the chance
to customize your message to the particular position and business you're
applying to.

This individualization demonstrates your due diligence and sincere interest

in the job.

The letter gives you the chance to elaborate on your resume by highlighting
particular accomplishments, abilities, and experiences that make you an
excellent candidate for the position.

You can describe how your successes connect to the demands of the job
and provide context for them.

The application letter gives you the chance to address any areas of your
application that call for more explanation, like employment gaps or career
transitions, in a constructive and proactive way.
