Task 7
On December 7 in Colombia, Candle Day is celebrated. It is a day when people get
together with their families to light candles and make a wish for the next year. Before that,
they put on their best clothes, many times they wear them for the first time after they are
launched. They set off fireworks and dance all night. Also, some families have a special
dinner, after which they are on the street for a long time, when the candles run out people
return home.

Task 8
My mother used to study dentistry but I had to leave this because I was born today. My
mother has a dental office, she treats different patients, I sometimes help her by being an
assistant, but she must hire specialists and dentists since she is an oral hygienist. In the
future she hopes to have several dental offices in different parts of the city, soon she will
rent another location to perform surgeries there.
