DIAMANT

There are several types of diamonds based on their color, purity, and size. Here are some
of the most common types:

1. Colorless diamonds: These are the most sought-after and valuable diamonds. They are
classified according to their purity and size.

2. Colored diamonds: These include yellow, pink, blue, green, and other rare color
diamonds. Their value depends on the intensity and rarity of their color.

3. Synthetic diamonds: Manufactured in laboratories, they have the same chemical and
physical properties as natural diamonds, but they are created artificially.

GOLD POWDER:

Gold powder, also known as "gold dust" or "colloidal gold powder", is a material composed
of very fine gold particles dispersed in a liquid, usually water. It has been used for
centuries in various fields, including traditional medicine, cosmetics and even cooking.
Gold powder is sometimes considered to have beneficial health and beauty properties,
although its actual effects vary depending on how it is used and the concentration of gold
in the final product.

GOLD BARS

Gold bars, also known as gold bars, are standardized and internationally recognized forms
of pure gold. Here are some details about gold bars and their quality:

1. **Size and Weight**: Gold bars may vary in size and weight. The smallest ones can
weigh a few grams, while the largest ones can weigh several kilograms. The most
common sizes are 1 ounce, 10 ounces, 100 grams, 500 grams, and 1 kilogram.

2. **Purity**: The purity of the gold contained in a bar is expressed as a percentage or in

carats. Gold purity is measured in carats, on a scale of 24, where pure gold is 24 carats.
For example, a gold bar of 99.99% purity would be considered a 24-karat bar.

3. **Stamping**: Gold bars usually have stampings indicating information such as weight,
purity, manufacturer, and a unique serial number. This guarantees the authenticity of the
bar and provides valuable information to the buyer.

13
4. **Manufacturing**: Gold bars are usually manufactured by specialized foundries that
follow strict standards to ensure the quality and purity of the gold. Manufacturing
techniques vary, but generally involve melting pure gold in molds to form bullion bars.

5. **Certification**: Some gold bars come with certificates of authenticity issued by

renowned institutions or foundries. These certificates attest to the purity, weight and other
important characteristics of the bar, which adds an extra layer of confidence for buyers.

GOLD NUGGETS

Gold nuggets are small pieces of natural gold found in rivers and streams. They form
when gold breaks away from rock deposits and is carried by water, where it is deposited in
hollows or obstacles. Gold prospectors use techniques such as gold washing to recover
these nuggets. They vary in size from tiny grains to more substantial pieces. Gold
nuggets have been sought after for centuries for their economic value and natural beauty.

RAW CASHEW

The Ivorian cashew nut, also known as cashew, has a significant impact on today's world,
particularly in the economic, social and environmental fields:

1. Economical:

- Ivory Coast is one of the world's leading producers of cashew nuts, with production
increasing in recent years.
- The export of cashew nuts constitutes an important source of income for the country,
contributing to its trade balance and economic growth.
- Cashew is widely used in the food industry, especially for the manufacture of snacks,
confectionery and other food products.
- The global demand for cashew nuts is constantly increasing, due to its growing
popularity as a healthy snack and its various uses in food.

Cashew nuts of Ivorian origin are of fairly good quality. Nearly 70% of exported nuts have
an out-turn greater than 42. cashew and the world's leading exporting country. 2nd world
producing country after India and before Vietnam and Brazil.

15
BRUT COFFEE

Raw coffee produced in Ivory Coast is widely recognized for its quality and significant
contribution to the global coffee industry. Here are some details:

1. Coffee varieties : Ivory Coast mainly grows Robusta.

It is generally grown in low altitude areas.

2. Growing conditions : Ivorian coffee benefits from favorable environmental conditions,

including an equatorial climate with abundant rainfall and moderate temperatures. These
conditions are ideal for the healthy growth of coffee plants.

3. Harvest process : Coffee harvesting in Ivory Coast is mainly manual. Farmers harvest
the coffee cherries when ripe, which ensures optimal quality. The harvest generally
extends from September to December.

4. Processing of raw coffee : Once harvested, coffee cherries undergo a processing

process that can vary depending on the methods used. Coffee can be processed wet
(washed) or dry (natural). Wet processing is more common in Ivory Coast and involves
removing the pulp from the cherries before drying.

5. Trade and export : Ivorian raw coffee is a major export product for the country. The
main export markets include Europe, the United States and some Asian countries. The
quality of Ivorian coffee makes it a popular choice for roasters around the world.

In summary, raw coffee produced in Ivory Coast benefits from optimal growing conditions,
a meticulous harvesting process and a quality that makes it a major player in the global
coffee market.

16
COCOA

Ivorian cocoa is one of the most important agricultural products of Côte d'Ivoire, being the
world's largest producer of cocoa. It represents a significant part of the country's
economy, providing income to millions of people. Ivorian cocoa is known for its quality and
flavor, making it a valuable ingredient for the global chocolate industry.

However, despite its significant contribution to the global cocoa market, the Ivorian cocoa
industry faces challenges such as child labor, deforestation and low pay for farmers.
These challenges have captured the attention of consumers, governments and
businesses around the world, prompting them to look for ways to promote more
sustainable and ethical cocoa production.

Due to its dominant position in the global market, fluctuations in cocoa production in Ivory
Coast can have a significant impact on global cocoa prices. Events such as adverse
weather conditions, plant diseases and exchange rate fluctuations can influence
production and therefore cocoa prices on the global market.

Overall, Ivorian cocoa plays a crucial role in the global chocolate industry and continues
to have a major influence on the trends and dynamics of the global cocoa market.

17
COPPER

Copper production in Ivory Coast is relatively limited compared to other African countries,
but it has the potential to grow with the exploration and development of new deposits.
Currently, the most notable copper mine in Ivory Coast is the Tongon mine, operated by
Randgold Resources.

Copper production in Côte d'Ivoire primarily has a regional impact by providing local
employment and income, as well as contributing to the national economy. However, with
global demand for copper increasing due to its use in various sectors such as electronics,
renewable energy and construction, any significant increase in Ivorian production could
impact global markets by contributing to the global copper supply.

The expansion of copper production in Ivory Coast could also boost foreign investment in
the country and strengthen its role on the global mining scene. However, this would
require significant investment in mining infrastructure, technology and local skills
development. Furthermore, it would be crucial to responsibly manage the environmental
and social impacts associated with mining to ensure sustainable development.

18
MANGANESE

Manganese production in Ivory Coast is an important component of the country's mining

industry. The main mining companies involved in manganese exploitation in Ivory Coast
include Compagnie Minière du Littoral (CML) and Société des Mines de fer de Guinée
(SMFG), among others.

Regarding the different manganese contents in Ivory Coast, they vary depending on the
deposits, but in general, they are between 30% and 50% manganese. Some deposits
may have higher grades, up to 60% manganese, while others may have lower grades,
around 20%.

The impact of manganese production in Ivory Coast on the global market is significant but
relatively modest compared to major global producers such as South Africa and Australia.
However, Ivory Coast contributes to the global supply of manganese, which may impact
international prices, particularly depending on global demand for steel and metal alloys.
Fluctuations in manganese production in Ivory Coast, as well as in other producing
countries, can therefore influence global prices and the availability of manganese on the
international market.
