know what it is to be alone and unwanted. They
are not powerless, though, and they often take
in those who have nowhere else to go. This
community, and willingness to embrace those
deemed unworthy by others, are traits shared by
their kin. Those kin come from all the hard walks

Kinfolk
1. Mary Jane Marsden: Born to relatively affluent
parents in the Midwest, Mary took a bus to New
York City to hit it big on TV. She never realized
her dreams, sadly, but “Mama” Marsden does run
the Shakespeare in the Park program every year.
She brings in a lot of lost ducklings, as she calls
them, and teaches them useful skills to get by in
the vagabond performance scene.
2. Michael Drake: With a head full of neat rows,
and a strong, friendly smile that contrasts his deep,
almost blue black skin, Mike is a regular in every
bar in and around Gary, Indiana. Always sharply
dressed, and smelling of fresh (if cheap) cologne,
he’s a veteran couch surfer who’s got friends from
dancers at the club to shift managers at the steel
mill. Adroit at managing his ever-growing social
network, he can always call in a few favors when
his kin need some help from everyday folk.

3. Sharon “Styles” Villanueva: Broad-shouldered
and wide-hipped, Sharon is a backroom fashionista
who can give anyone a five-dollar makeover using
whatever happens to be in their kitchen cabinets.
With some instant juice powder packets, a little
white vinegar, some safety scissors, and a set of
dollar store makeup, this south side L.A. local can
get anyone ready for a full-on glamour shoot.
4. Spacker “Sparks” Davidson: Straw-haired and
watery-eyed, Sparks has been on the streets ever
since he came out to his parents when he was
a young man. He lost his job at the local utility
company soon after his preference became known
in his small town, but he found a new life in the
tunnels beneath Las Vegas. Taken in by Charlie
“Streets of Rage” Harris, Sparks keeps the lights
on in their little subterranean community of storm
drain squatters.
5. Minerva “Minnie” Ibramov: A third-generation
immigrant in Seattle, Washington, Minnie runs
an off-the-books labor service. From immigrants
without papers who can hang drywall, to ex-cons
who can’t pass background checks but are more
than capable of pouring concrete, to street dwellers
who just need a little scratch to get by and who
aren’t afraid to scrub a bathroom or a kitchen, this
blond-haired, no-nonsense woman has a small
army of people ready to do any kind of odd job she
needs. And some of the jobs she puts out calls for
are very odd indeed.
6. Donnie Blaskovich: The son of East German
refugees, Donnie’s family have been regulars on
the London docks for decades now. From labor
and maintenance, to head busting and scabbing,
Donnie’s clan has made just scraping by into
something of an art form. Donnie himself has the
shoulders of a work horse, and the temperament
of a colicky Rottweiler, making him a rather well-
known personage in certain corners of the ward.
7. Sabra Bishara: When the garou were cast out of came across a castoff pallet of American sneakers
Egypt, it was the Silent Striders who took the brunt and managed to offload all of them in less than
of the vampire’s curse. The Bone Gnawers were
also scattered to the winds, taking many years and While this Mexico City native tries to stay out of
several generations to re-establish their footholds dangerous deals when he can, if some of his kin
on territories. Sabra’s family didn’t return to
Cairo, Egypt until the chaos of Rommel’s desert
campaign, and they have been steadily helping
solidify the tribe’s influence ever since. Now an
old woman, “Mother” Sabra holds a position of
high honor in the city, offering counsel to City
Father Rashid “Gutters” al Abbas.
8. Darius “Sparticus” Alexopoulos: Born and
raised on the streets of Athens, Greece, Darius
learned how to fight in the meanest ludus there’s
ever been. A defiant boy who refused to be cowed,
he caught the eye of Medea “Arena” Floros. The
ahroun molded Darius, teaching him and driving
him on to become all he could be. Grown now,
with a deep chest and arms as thick as bridge
beams, it’s said by some that he’s skilled enough to
take even a mid-ranked garou to the mat. It’s often
made other members of the tribe wonder if Darius
is destined to be one of the changers, or if he was
somehow blessed with more-than-human power by
the spirits.
9. Eduardo “Zapatos” Gonzales: A natural
born salesman, Eduardo always seems to have
something to lay out on his blanket when he’s
running a hustle. From bootleg DVDs, to advanced
copies of popular novels, to cheap computer parts,
he always seems to know where to find things
people want, and to part with them at a price that
seems like a bargain. He got his nickname when he
a day, only keeping a single pair for himself.

know the sorts of people he could ask about those
things.
10. Elizabeth Parks: Thought of as the local bag
lady around the Boston Common, Elizabeth is
anything but. A shepherd, of sorts, she patrols
the area looking for the outcast, the lost, and the
misplaced. Once she finds them, she does her
level best to make sure these lambs are brought to
the doorsteps of people who can help them. She
knows every charity, halfway house, soup kitchen,
and good Samaritan in the city, and she knows the
power a little belly crawling can have when you
need something. She won’t tolerate abuse, though,
and more than one outfit has shuttered its doors
after she put the right words in very wrong ears.

11. Rory Boone: Long, lanky, black, and
beleaguered, “Professor” Boone’s glasses are taped
on one arm, and his thrift store jacket is frayed at
the sleeves. While he has more degrees than most
would believe, student loan debt destroyed his
credit score, got his home repossessed, and took
most of what he had. Rather than tie himself down
to a sinking ship, though, Rory decided to walk
away from the anchor that was holding him down.
A regular in the New York Public Library, he
teaches anyone who comes to him with questions.
Over the years he’s become an expert in the
city’s history, 17th century literature, introductory
astrophysics, and the spiritualism movement of the
late 19th century.
12. Rudy “Train Man” Woodfield: A tall figure in a
ratty old coat and fingerless gloves, Rudy’s blonde
hair and soft features make him look like an
overgrown boy. While he often talks to beings no
one else can see, that’s typically because Rudy has
trouble telling the difference between the material
world, and the world of spirits. A good friend of
Stourbridge Lion, Rudy is a freight bagger, a red-
eye rider, and he can always tell you how to get
somewhere by train. Because it might take a while,
but there’s nothing more reliable out there.
13. Rachel Caufeld: Busting her hump for just
a few pennies over the minimum wage, Rachel
works for a mercenary janitorial outfit that handles
everything from office buildings to industrial
warehouses. While the work is sweaty, often
dangerous, and always exhausting, the brown-
haired Rat Fink has gotten several valuable
tidbits of information about everything from top-
secret lab experiments to shady, under-the-radar
operations. It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s got to
do it.

14. Dana Brankovich: A scene insider in Belgrade,
Serbia, Dana always knows where something is
going down. Whether it’s an underground club,
the latest place to score a few hits of your dope of
choice, or getting an inside line on the latest street
rumors, she always seems to know somebody.
With her hand-spiked blonde hair, patchwork punk
jacket, and self-done piercings, Dana is always up
for a good time. Those who push her, though, find
that she always keeps a blade on her, and that her
network of friends don’t take kindly to any sort of
hassle.
15. Ambrose Montombo: A native of Brazzeville
in the Republic of Congo, Ambrose is named for
his grandfather; a French resistance fighter who
came to the country during World War II. His
name isn’t his grandather’s only legacy, either. Tall
and thin, Ambrose was taught from a young age
how to fight against those who would abuse their
strength and position. An off-the-books rough boy
with pale scars across his dark hands, he does his
best to keep bullies, thugs, fascists, and mercs out
of his neighborhood, and away from his people.
16. “Aunt” Gemma May: The West is full of old,
deserted mining camps and played-out boom
towns abandoned to the dust storms and the
tumbleweeds. One little dot on the map that was
once called Rush Creek was one of them, but these
days it’s known as Gemma’s Place. Surrounded
by rolling hills, and still boasting a small main
street where sheep and chickens wander, Gemma
moved into the ramshackle little ghost town over
50 years ago. Back when her hair was just as
black as her skin, and she thought love was all
she’d ever need. While her hair is gray now, and
her eyes sit in webs of crow’s feet, her little place
has been a refuge both for Hill Folk, and for kin
who need a place to go. It’s rough living, and feels
like something from the last century, but there’s
community, food, and even a little love to spare.
17. Ryzhik: A mangy-looking mongrel who prowls
the streets of Moscow, Russia, Ryzhik is fast,
tough, and smart. One of the infamous train-riding
hounds, Ryzhik commutes round the city for better
handouts every day before riding home again.
Sometimes he even lets people pet him, but more
than one fellow passenger has had to learn the hard
way to keep their hands to themselves.
18. Patches: Named for her distinctive coat,
Patches can almost pass for a regular dog…
almost. While she’s friendly and exuberant, there
is an air of something wild and savage that hangs
around her. Something that even the modern
humans who barely have any of the old memories
flowing through their blood can feel. Still, she’s a
regular among several homeless communities in
Montgomery, Alabama. Patches sees the displaced
humans, and their canine companions, as her
puppies. She’s been known to attack people who
try to push them out, and while the cops have
called animal control on her more than once, she’s
managed to avoid being captured so far.
19. Brittany Black: With an accent most describe
as full-blooded country, Brittany is a long way
from her western Kentucky roots in her adopted
home of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Living her new
life as a server in a late-night diner, Brittany was
caught in the concrete current of street life before
Hannah “Sweets” Ritz found her. Hannah gave
her the hand-up she needed, getting her a place to
crash for a while, introducing her to new friends,
and even helping her begin her transition, since
Brittany had been assigned male at birth. Traveling
Kinfolk
halfway across the country to get away from her
old family and their refusal to accept her wasn’t
easy, but she’s found a new family she wouldn’t
trade for anything.
20. Karl Schulz: A Hambug, Germany local, Karl
has spent his entire adult life reaching out to the
oppressed and the underprivileged. He originally
did it while wearing a cassock and a collar, but
he’s since left both behind, disgusted at how the
church is more interested in maintaining power
and wealth than it is in helping those who need aid.
Still called Father by some of the older members
of the community who remember when he was
still a member of the clergy, he helps anyone he
can, where and how he can.
21. Lance Kildare: Born in a time when Ireland’s
troubles were very much a reality, Lance learned
early that any street could become a battleground
at a moment’s notice. He has a few strands of red
left in his gray hair, and heavy scars across his
arthritis-swollen knuckles. Though he rarely has
much in the way of pocket money, there are few
bars in Dublin that won’t stand the old man a pint.
Though he may not be the fighter he was, once
upon a time, his counsel has proved invaluable,
and his knowledge has armed generations who
need to stand ready when a battle comes to their
streets.
22. Tony “Ramblin Man” Tanaka: Born near Tulsa,
Oklahoma, Tony was dealt a crap hand from the
start. Poor, asthmatic, slight, and the only Japanese
kid for miles around meant that he had to get tough
in a hurry. A lifelong lover of cars, Tony grew up
learning how to fix them. Though he never had
the money for his own ride when he was young,
he could get any of his friends’ hand-me-downs
up and running with nothing more than a monkey
wrench, duct tape, and some zip ties. An over-
the-road trucker, Tony’s been everywhere you can
think of twice. He always keeps an eye out for
hitch hikers, too… especially the ones with the
tell-tale vibe of a Road Warder.

23. Candace Walker: Raised in the crumbling
neighborhoods on the poor side of Newark, New
Jersey, Candy’s mother refused to let her father
anywhere near her. The young girl grew up tough,
and was sent home more than once for splitting
someone’s lip when they mouthed off about how
it wasn’t surprising a black girl like her didn’t
have a daddy. Getting through high school wasn’t
easy, and the day after she had her diploma in her
hand she volunteered for the army reserves to help
pay her way through college. Reserves turned
into active duty when she wasn’t looking, and
Candace soon found herself at the mercy of a big,
confusing machine where nothing made sense, and
combat refused to remain within the designated
spots on the map. She made it back state-side
with a box full of medals, scars no one could see,
and paperwork problems that stopped her from
turning her college dream into a reality. She was
sitting on a stool in the local watering hole when
a whipcord black man with rough hands and kind
eyes thanked her for her service, before he told her
how proud he was of her. She spent the rest of the
night talking to Moses “Big Stick” Carter, and the
ahroun that had fathered her so many years ago
told her who she really was. She didn’t believe him
at first, but after he proved to her that werewolves
were very real, all those other problems seemed
very remote, and very unimportant. Reluctant to
take up a fight, she’s proven more than willing
to do what needs to be done when push comes to
shove.
24. Reyansh Acharya: A thin figure who walks
with a gnarled cane, Reyansh is still spry and
hearty despite his years. He haunts the Kaal
Bhairav Temple in Varanasi, India, doing his part
to make sure the sacred site is not harmed in any
way. Viewed as a learned figure by some, and a
brother to many of the monks, Reyansh has given
several warnings that have proven instrumental in
protecting the temple. And when he was a little too
late, it was his connections to the theurges of his
tribe that allowed the taint to be cleansed in short
order.

25. Blanche Baker: A third-generation landowner
in Appalachia, Blanche’s grandfather bought up
a huge parcel during the Great Depression. Used
mostly for squatters’ settlements and moonshine
making in the old days, Blanche turned her
holdings into a trailer park. A low-rent place for
low-rent folks, the bottle blonde land lady keeps
several double-wides available for tribe members
and kin who need a haven for a night or three. As
safe houses go, the sheer remoteness has proven to
be quite an advantage.
26. Feodor Morozov: Short and thick, with the
lumpy scars from an often-broken nose, Feodor
has a wry sense of humor, and he smokes like he
forgot how to breathe clean air some time ago.
Dressed in a ragged surplus army coat, and a thick
wool hat, few people would believe Feodor is a
former Spetsnaz soldier. A leader among Kazan’s
homeless population, Feodor does everything he
can to keep himself and his kin off the radar. Even
if that means leaving a few bodies in the gutter.
27. Gina Gerschwinn: The daughter of a family
who barely escaped the Nazi purges, life in
the U.S. has been anything but easy for them.
The Gerschwinns have always stood up for the
underdogs, though, and Gina herself can often be
found on the mall in Washington, D.C. collecting
signatures, organizing protests, and occasionally
using cans of hornet spray on white power
marchers and new wave fascists who try to shut
her up.
28. Bianca Gagne: A Bordeaux, France native with
a green thumb, Bianca’s black hair is streaked with
blonde, and it seems like her fingernails are always
dirty. An urban gardener without equal, she’s
even made what she refers to as “street wine”.
The process doesn’t take long, and it’s become
something of a staple at several soup kitchens and
shelters. After all, if you’re going to have a meal
with friends, you should have some wine to go
with it, she’s fond of saying.
29. Glen Greiner: A man whose face is mostly
beard, and whose hair reaches more than halfway
down his back, Glen lives on his old fishing boat
Gaia’s Fortune. While he usually keeps the old
girl in and around Stovington, Maine, Glen’s been
known to take longer trips to transport cargo, or
to go after some sunken treasure. He can usually
find room for a new hand or two for a season, and
preference always goes to kin who need some time
away from the mainland.
30. Tanzie Lauflin: A Calgary, Alberta dweller,
Tanzie came north on a greyhound with a one-
way ticket in her pocket, and two nights of sleep
deprivation sitting heavy on her shoulders. She
slept until the bus reached a stop she liked, and got
off without any real idea of where she was, or what
she was planning to do now that she was there.
A bronco buster by trade, there’s no horse she
can’t ride and no bull she can’t clamp onto… for
a couple of seconds, anyway. While it’s not a skill
set that’s often in-demand, she’s found a couple of
traveling outfits and hinterlands ranches who have
needed her services from time to time. She tries to
keep it under the radar, though, and she does what
she can to pay back the kin who have helped her
along the way.
31. Alonzo Garcia: Wiry and handsome, with
his black hair swept back from his face in a high
widow’s peak, most people mistake Alonzo for
a tour guide when they first meet him. With an
intimate knowledge of Hollywood, California,
he spends his time on the streets providing tips
to those who look like they could use them.
Everything from helping tourists catch a quick bus,
to handing out the low-down on the club scene
he’s an unsurpassed wealth of local information.
His sign, which reads Tips 4 Tips, says it all,
though he tends to waive gratuities when it comes
to his fellow kin.
32. Veronica “Bruiser” Bahar: A refugee from the
conflicts between the Kurds and Turkish forces,
Veronica has a burn scar along one side of her
neck, and almost total hearing loss in one ear.
Through a series of late-night treks, a few truck
rides, and one boat trip, she found her way to
Kinfolk
Pierre “Broken Road” Durand in Istanbul. A garou
with dozens of prominent scars, Pierre taught
Veronica that surviving was nothing to be ashamed
of. He showed her there was beauty in the road one
had traveled, and that while she should mourn, she
should not let that sadness consume her. Once he’d
helped her make her peace, he taught her first why,
and then how, to fight. A regular in city’s street
scene, Veronica has acquired her share of new
scars since she came to the city; those who crawl
away from her always leave with more, however.
33. Shanker “Shakespeare” Martins: A Windy
City busker, Shanker earned his nickname by
performing one-man plays in the subways, as
well as in the pedway. What his shows may lack
in refinement and special effects, they often make
up for in hilarity. Particularly his single-actor
rendition of Macbeth, which is a regular crowd
pleaser. Though he has some regulars, Shanker
mostly spreads his earnings around amongst all the
other subterranean dwellers, buying goodwill and
favors that he’s had to call in from time to time.
34. Cory Jennings: A ropy young woman with
deep black skin who shaves the sides of her head,
Cory looks like a punk rock roadie, and cooks like
a goddess of the hearth. With nothing more than
some fast food spices, and a couple of bucks of
supplies, she can whip something up that will feed
a whole pack and leave them howling for more. A
treasure in soup kitchens and among community
cook outs where anyone is welcome, Cory is more
than happy to share her gifts. As long as everyone
behaves themselves, that is. The idea of not getting
a bowl of her famous stone soup often keeps
the peace, even among the rougher crowds who
frequent the spots she cooks for.

35. Charlene Johnson: A victim of the U.S.
healthcare system, Charlene’s parents lost the
ability to cover her medication the day her father
got fired from his job at the start of a downturn
that eventually became a recession. Suffering from
mild schizophrenia, ADHD, and anxiety, the only
thing she could think to do to avoid becoming a
burden on her parents was to run away from home.
She eventually wound up in Houston, Texas, doing
her best to hang onto her perceptions. She was
pacing at the edge of a park, talking to no one
in a more and more strident voice, when a wolf
wandered out of the bushes. The lupus theurge
Moon Chaser spoke to Charlene, and managed to
convince her to follow him into the dark. He told
her that he couldn’t make the voices she heard go
away, but he could get her the help she needed, if
she would trust him. She accepted, which was one
of the hardest decisions she’d ever made. Though
her struggles are far from over, she’s gotten her
feet under her with the help of the Bone Gnawer
network.
36. Danny “Ghost” Harrison: Raised almost
entirely off the grid by a family of doomsday
preppers, Danny’s folks were ready for anything…
except an incursion of fomori. While the cavalry
arrived in time to save Danny and some of the
other community members, there were a lot of
bodies left behind. While Danny was offered help
and a place to go, he instead decided to strike out
on his own. Barely old enough to be considered a
man, he packed a bag, grabbed his trusty crossbow,
and vanished onto the Long Trail in Vermont. It’s
been years since then, but Danny still surfaces
from time to time in the cities built along the
ancient foot trails and hiking paths that crisscross
the continent. He still has a small satellite phone
given to him by Carie “Knucklebones” Masters,
but he’s only used it three times in all the years
he’s had it.
37. Hill Child: Often seen in the streets and alleys
of Lexington, Kentucky, Hill Child rarely stays in
one place for very long. She enjoys playing Stalk
with other wolves, and the few dogs brave enough
to participate in her games. There are often men
in brown trying to capture her, but thus far they

haven’t managed to get that rope around her neck.
38. Marcus Giordano: A regular among the
sidewalk cafes of Rome, Italy, Marcus seems like
a kindly old man who always has a twinkle of
mischief in his eye. His true purpose is keeping a
closer watch on the ruins and relics of the city’s
past, and to help him he keeps groups of young
runners and street urchins at his beck and call. Not
everyone uses cell phones, and when he needs
to reach one of the city’s garou, it’s best to have
someone deliver a message in-person.
39. Aleja Perez: A Havana, Cuba native, Aleja is
one of City Father Victor Valejo’s six daughters.
Colloquially referred to as the Big Sisters, Aleja
and the others each care for their own blocks and
neighborhoods throughout the city. Victor’s eyes
and hands, those who have problems, or who
have seen things they cannot explain, come to
the Sisters. They find ways to make the people’s
problems go away, and if they cannot, they pass
the word along to people who can.
40. Rauf Brown: A beachcomber with a head full
of locks and a remarkably steady hand, Rauf offers
free, old-fashioned shaves to anyone with the time
and a need in Kingston, Jamaica. Everyone from
fellow street people, to shopkeepers, bartenders,
and investment bankers find themselves outside,
leaning back under his razor. Friendly and curious,
Rauf hears all sorts of things from his clients. That,
and he’s got all sorts of people who feel they owe
him a little something, which can come in handy
when he needs someone to offer a hand-up for a
friend or fellow kin.
41. Raymond Johnson: A tech program wiz kid,
Raymond spent most of his youth online trying to
escape his parents’ messy divorce. Eventually just
going online wasn’t enough, and he lit out with
nothing more than his laptop, his refurbished smart
phone, and a couple changes of clothes. He made
it all the way down to Tallahassee, Florida in one
piece, and though he lives mostly off the grid he’s
very rarely offline. He even built an app meant for
other homeless people to use, since more folks are
online from the streets than ever before. It lets you
know which businesses have free Wi-Fi, who lets
you charge your devices, which ones will let you
catch a bit of sleep, and where you can get a lot of
food for some pocket change. Though he’s only
in his late teens, Raymond has the distrustful gaze
of a prey animal who’s had one too many close
encounters.
42. Meg Bryant: With teased red hair and an
athlete’s physique that’s just starting to slip, Meg
works at an all-night gas station on the outskirts of
Indianapolis, Indiana. On the way to everywhere,
she’s met people from across the country and the
world from the other side of her counter. The little
neon island is a favorite hang out both for kinfolk
and for packs; both locals, and those just passing
through. Meg hands out the stale donuts and old
coffee, making sure nothing goes to waste, and in
return her store is one of the safest places in the
city. A few people have tried to start trouble, but
all of them have very swiftly regretted it when it
turned out they didn’t have silver bullets in their
guns.
43. Jasper Smalls, the Gray Man: Everybody came
to the streets from somewhere. While hard luck
stories abound, the tales about Jasper Smalls are
the stuff of big city myth making. According to
most of the burn barrel tale tellers, he was working alongside the rushing currents of the mighty
undercover for somebody. CIA, NSA, FBI, the

agrees on is that once Jasper saw what was going
on in the world, he couldn’t just walk away from
it. So when the operation was declared over, he
just faded into the wind. Now he drifts from city
to city, looking for the people who do wrong so
he can pull the wickedness out by its roots. While

the tribe’s galliards have done quite a lot to build
up Jasper’s legend, members of the Swarm know
there’s more than a little truth behind the smoke
screen.
44. Isabella Aleman: Born and raised in Madrid,
Spain, circumstances and bad luck stranded
Isabella in Panama City when she was still a
student. Her papers had a problem when she tried
to go home, and with no one able to answer the
questions she needed she was detained. While the
issue was eventually resolved, it was more difficult
(not to mention expensive) to go home than it
was to simply stay where she was. She dropped
off the radar, choosing to explore the inside of her
new home. A dancer, a performer, and a hunter,
the sailors who frequent the city are easy prey for
Isabella’s charms. Of course, if anyone gets out
of line, it helps that the local packs have her back.
More than one man has returned to his ship white-
faced, his pay gone, claiming he didn’t want to talk
about what had happened during his shore leave.
45. Austin Wrangle: A gender neutral citizen
journalist, Austin covers issues and events from
the perspective of the gutter… or so their tagline
says. Living out of their old Chevy van in San
Jose, California, Austin has managed to capture
raw, moving footage of what life looks like when
you’re one of the downtrodden and forgotten.
Though Austin has garnered a lot of attention,
they’ve staunchly refused to be sponsored, or to
have ads placed on the pages they contribute to. In
lieu of those things, Austin asks readers to donate
to organizations they’ve vetted, or to provide
direct patronage.
46. River Breeze: Born on the outskirts of
Saint Louis, Missouri, River Breeze was raised
Mississippi River. When she grew big enough to
smells of the man place called to her. She didn’t
know what surprised her more; the bizarre dangers
of the place, or finding so many of her kin there.
Some walked on two legs, others on four, and
some could change, but River Breeze is always
happy to catch the scent of them.

47. Carter Haigh: Tall and dark-haired, with
the thick shoulders of a linebacker and the
heavy hands of a waterfront brawler, Carter is a
strange figure even by the standards of Salem,
Massachusetts. Wrapped in a fraying leather coat,
and wearing heavy boots that have seen a thousand
miles of walking, there are those who whisper
that Carter is one of the real witches who haunts
the city. Able to talk to spirits, to have visionary
dreams, and even to conjure fire according to some
rumors, he’s a particularly loud kind of mysterious.
He’s careful with how he uses his gnosis, but there
has been a time or two where he’s had to fire first
and worry about who saw what happened later.
48. Harlowe Hill: With her thick blonde braid
and fraying tweeds, Harlowe looks more like
a university professor than she does one of the
street folk. A Frankweiler, she keeps an eye on
the historical buildings and libraries of Norwich,
England. For all the talk of how backwater and
uncultured the place is, Harlowe loves her city, and
has been known to glass people who disrespect it
in her hearing.
49. Alex Albertson: Alex grew up moving from
one place to another, and it was a hard habit to
break. Raised by a single dad who was in the
army, and then a traveling salesmen after he
retired, Alex suffers from a permanent case of
wanderer’s itch. A road trip veteran who’s toured
with circuses, bands, and the occasional caravan,
Alex has become something of a regular contact
for blacktop Bone Gnawers. Exchanging news,
providing a back seat, or just sharing a booth at a
late night truck stop diner has become the norm for
him, and he can’t imagine living his life any other
way.
50. Vera Wong: One letter away from wealth and
fame, Vera grew up around Olympia, Washington.
Her father worked in a Chinese restaurant as a
server, and her mother at a nail salon. Barely
scraping by, they were part of a tight-knit
community who helped each other out when they
could. Something Vera learned when she was old
enough to get a part-time job herself was that it
was comically easy to steal credit card numbers

and passwords… especially from business owners
who kept hours long, and wages low. While she
tried to spread the wealth around, her activities
eventually landed her in trouble. That was when
Robin “Boomstick” Nguyen showed up at the
station. The Hood representative made Vera a deal;
she’d bail the young woman out, if she agreed to
get better. Vera did, and has been a serious asset to
the camp ever since.
51. Bayani Ocampo: Bayani is a handsome,
friendly young man who works odd jobs all around
Quezon City in the Philippines. Though accepted
as a part of the tribe, most Bone Gnawers who
know his history keep Bayani at arm’s length.
Raised by Spiker, a vicious ratkin warrior, Bayani
is only truly comfortable among the kin and
garou of the Swarm. More than one police officer
abusing their authority, or slum lord cracking
down on their tenets, has vanished thanks to the
stiletto up his sleeve, and his contacts in the sewers
that can make bodies disappear.
52. Scruff: An alley lurker and breezeway hunter,
Scruff is a common sight among the street
communities of Dubai, India. Though there’s a
great deal of life moving through the city, there’s
also a darkness that lurks in the disregarded
courtyards and forgotten neighborhoods. Scruff
herself bears scars of that darkness; some from
ordinary human cruelty, and others from the
lurking corruption of fomori that are spawned in
the forgotten chaos of the urban sprawl.
53. Jean “8 Ball” Stacker: A pool hall hustler who
will bet on anything from cards, to darts, to a game
of corner pockets, this handsome young Cajun
haunts the taprooms of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Always in one bar or another until closing time,
he tries to go home with someone when he can so
he can avoid sleeping rough. He’s got his share
of scars from smashed bottles and cracked sticks,
but even though he can handle himself as well as
any other Bone Gnawer out there, his weapon of
choice will always be his easy smile, and an offer
to buy the next round.
54. Julie “Stop Sign” Parker: A honky tonk head
buster, Julie is an east coast transplant who ran
away to Memphis, Tennessee as soon as she
managed to get her driver’s license. With a head
of bright red hair, and a scarred leather jacket,
more than one good ole’ boy has made the mistake
of trying to lay hands on her, and usually walked
away with broken fingers, or worse. Wherever
Julie drinks she rarely pays her own tab; other
women who know she keeps the crowd on their
best behavior chip in until she stumbles off to
wherever she’s calling home that night.
55. Thomas Breckinridge: Old Man Thomas,
or simply Old Tom to the locals, lives in a
tumbledown shack out in the Everglades in
Florida. A friend to the Uktena, who respect his
spiritual strength even if they frown on his life
choices, Tom mostly tries to stay away from the
business of the world as it burns down around his
ears. When one of the tribe brings him a fresh cut
of cubs, or other kin who share his gnostic gift, he
puts the moonshine jug down long enough to dry
out and teach them what they need to stay alive.
56. Stephen Beauregard: “Salty” as some call
the old sailor, the tall, balding, black man was in
the U.S. Navy right up until his mustache turned
gray. Though he got his retirement pay, he moved
to Juneau, Alaska to try and stretch it out longer
than it would last where he was already living.
A real people person, Stephen isn’t really good
at not having anything to do. Which is why he
keeps his fingers in a lot of pies, from organizing
meetings for other local vets, to volunteering in
soup kitchens, to keeping track of protests over
local political proposals. He’s even been known to

58. Aaron “Spooky” Rathbone: Born without
an ounce of melanin in his body, Aaron is often
wrapped up in a hoodie and tucked into the back
corner of a coffee shop or a diner somewhere in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A friendly ghost who’s
retiring in person, Aaron has organized and
digitized many of the Bone Gnawers and their
kin in and around the city. Found online under the
name Digital_Specter, Aaron always knows who to
call when something is going down.
59. Jenny Quick: A heavily tattooed ne’er do well,
Jenny calls Miami, Florida home. A hanger-on
for a dozen different street outfits at one time or
another, and an occasional gun mal for the rough
boys she shares her bed with, Jenny can usually
find a bit of scratch or a crash spot for kin. She
tells the boys they’re her sisters, uncles, or cousins,
making it clear they’re off-limits and to be left-
alone.
60. Achille Bodine: A broad-shouldered man
with the reefer coat of a dock worker, and the
hard stare of a fighter, Achille looks out of place
at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. He’s
taken every tour there is of the place, though,
and while formal schooling was never his strong
suit, the Frankweiler has developed the necessary
vocabulary to talk meaningfully about his favorite
pieces over the years of his vigil. Achille even
managed to foil a robbery at the museum because
he knew the faces of everyone on staff, and the
thieves simply did not belong.
Nigeria whose scooter weaves in and out of traffic
with death-defying skill, Amani always gets her
package where it’s going. Whether that’s a quick
town businessmen, or a bump of blow to some
high earners who want to keep their party going,
Amani can get it there faster than anyone else. Her
skills have often proven useful to the tribe, and
she’s been asked to open up the throttle for the
Bone Gnawers more than once.

Wichita, Kansas, Jasmine’s got a sympathetic ear,
and a consoling manner about her. As the dark-
haired woman often says, if she had a degree,
she could charge therapist’s rates for doing
what she does. She met packmates Hugh “Bone
Breaker” Marsden and Lily “Car Chaser” White
while she was on-shift, and immediately took to
both of them. Though they’ve had to work out
their dynamic and establish appropriate barriers,
Jasmine can’t help but feel at times like she’s the
bulwark stopping the other two from breaking the
litany.
69. Perdana Gunawan: A garbage collector in
Jakarta, Indonesia, Perdana is less than invisible
to the eyes of most of the city folk he sees.
Fortunately, any good scavenger can find out a lot
by perusing the refuse of the city’s real predators.
Phone bills, bank receipts, love letters, and expired
passwords all slide through the Rat Fink’s fingers
on the regular, and he makes sure the information
finds its way to the proper hands.
70. Tears the Wyrm: A blacktop wanderer with a
notched ear and scars along his belly, Tears the
Wyrm considers the pavement of Prague in the
Czech Republic his territory. While it is a beautiful
city, it’s also teeming with predators like ticks on
a mangy wolf. Most of them are natural, but some
aren’t, and those are the ones that draw Tears the
Wyrm. He can sense the taint and corruption, and
he feels compelled to tear it out wherever he finds
it. While he will seek aid if he finds something too
strong for him, there’s definitely a reason he has so
many scars.
71. Donald Ryan: Deep-chested, long shanked,
and boasting a thick mane of red hair, Donald has
the long stride and strong grip of the old fighters
that once traveled Ireland looking to trade their
sword arms for silver. He calls Armagh home
these days, and tends to man the door at pubs
who want someone to keep the rowdy customers
under control. Every so often, though, someone
with a hard-edged look to them will sidle over,
and give Donnie a message. He always leaves not
long after, even if it means giving up his pay for
Kinfolk
the night. When he comes back, it’s always with
split knuckles and the too-wide eyes of someone
coming down from an adrenaline high. No one
ever asks where he goes, or what he does when
he gets there… easier that way for everyone
concerned.
72. Dacio Alvarez: Tall, black, and good-humored,
Dacio works a factory assembly line in Granada,
Spain. With ancestry that goes all the way back to
the Moorish occupation of the area, he’s explored
most of what the city has to offer. These days he
stays closer to home, trying to raise his son and
daughter. Marisol is just like her mother, and
Dacio is already preparing himself for her first
change, since his mate is no longer around to guide
her through it.
73. Spanner: A roving body modder, Spanner is
tall, pale, androgynous, and covered from neck
to fingertips in their own work. While they have
a travel kit that works on either compressed air
or electricity (whichever is available), Spanner
can improvise all kinds of tattooing tools from
pens and medical needles, to sharp sticks and
natural ink. Often trading their art and services for
necessities, Spanner is who the packs in Jersey
City, New Jersey call on to commemorate the
accomplishments of fellow kinfolk.
74. Jada Jones: A serious-faced black woman with
a well-worn backpack, Jada is a modern-day glyph
tagger. Well-versed in the facts and legends of
the so-called “hobo glyphs” used by many people
displaced by the Great Depression, she leaves
similar tags for wanderers caught in the hostile
territory of the concrete jungle. Everything from
marking safe territory, to signaling danger from
cops and gangs, to secret marks that let other Bone
Gnawers know where their territory starts. Her
signature is recognized all over the U.S., and while
her messages are often scrubbed away by the city’s
authorities, someone else always puts them back in
a day or two.

75. Sharon Greene: The owner and proprietor of
Greene Gold and Pawn in Skokie, Illinois, Sharon
has more than a little gray in her thick, curly hair.
While she drives a hard bargain, she follows the
same rules her father laid down about giving
help and aid to those in need. No one deserves to
be kicked while they’re down, especially when
you could just as easily give them a hand up.
While cash poor, the tribe often helps keep the
shop running by acquiring unusual (and often
valuable) items to bring in the treasure hunters.
This helps keep the doors open, and it allows the
Bone Gnawers to stash powerful items and tribal
treasures in the obscenely heavy vault in the back
room.
76. “Father” Darren Blast: A good-hearted shyster
with a devious streak, Darren actually put through
the paperwork to have himself recognized as a
Priest of the Streets. With a little place in Jackson,
Mississippi, Darren has a regular congregation
of folks who need religious exemptions for
everything from birth control and abortion, to
marriage certificates and work exemptions. The
“church” is partially supported by local members
of the Hood, but Sarah “Dark Money” Bollivar
convinced several other corporate wolves to use
the facility as a tax haven. What the average
people who come through the front doors don’t
know, though, is that the church isn’t just for show.
The altar Darren preaches from, and where people
come to ask for advice and guidance, is dedicated
to the spirit of the City Father.
77. Penelope Granger: With her thin, blonde hair
and threadbare jeans, Penny doesn’t look like a
grade-A baking talent. Looks can be deceiving,
though. A one-time corporate success, Penny
walked away from Sweet Rewards because
she just wasn’t happy with what her career had
become. An under-the-table worker at several
restaurants, and a life-saver for girl scout troops
and school bake sales, Penny’s cookies, cakes, and
pies are famous throughout Jacksonville, Florida.
78. Jane King: Called Queen by those she’s close
to, Jane’s been running the streets since she was
old enough to worry about truant officers. Hard-

edged on the outside, a faded tattoo of a crown
in blue ink is the only key to her past that most
people can tell at a glance. Able to strip a weapon
and re-assemble it blind-folded (a party trick that’s
kept her in drinking money more than once),
there’s rumors that she’s been everything from
a soldier, to a gang girl, to one of those cult kids
raised by anti-government militias.
79. Thato Pretorius: A transplant to Cape Town,
South Africa, Thato is tall, dark, and rugged in
a world-weary sort of way. Able to talk about
everything from books and film to politics and
sports, he’s a Renaissance man in the eyes of many
who make his acquaintance. Though never blessed
with bulging pockets, he hears plenty, and he
knows how to spread a rumor. Given a little time
to work, and to let the falsehood take on a life of
its own, he can create shadows that send the tribe’s
enemies jumping.
80. Max: A towering figure with a sweet smile
and slow, measured speech, Max is hard to miss.
Able to easily unload a truck by himself, and
according to one rumor able to flip a small car
onto the sidewalk when enraged, no one’s sure
where this giant came from. Adele “Smoothie”
Grand tells people that doesn’t matter, though. As
far as the philodox is concerned, Max is family.
And a helpful sort of family to have around, when
formori are prowling, or gangs with sick ideas of
fun are roaming in the dark looking to prey on the
vulnerable.
81. Dammit: A mischievous young wolf with a
tendency toward destruction if left to his own
devices, he was raised by a group of homid kinfolk
in Salt Lake City, Utah. While his energy is often a
problem, his keen senses have allowed his family
(and its various adopted members as kin come and
go) to avoid being caught off-guard by servants of
the Wyrm on more than one occasion.
82. Mathias Briggs: An old U.S. marine who’s
been around the world a time or two, Mathias
applied for Australian citizenship once he left
the service. With miles of sandy beaches just
beyond the gleaming glass and steel, Sydney
had everything the aging devil dog on a fixed
income could ask for. He still keeps his old silver
switchblade, with the words semper fidelis worked
into the handle, in his pocket. It’s come in handy
too often for him to ever think about leaving it
behind.
83. Jeanna Hernandez: A desert walker who can
find her way by the sun or the stars, Jeanna roams
the U.S.- Mexico border looking for those who
need help. She does her best to put down the
Wyrm creatures she finds in the badlands, and she
has a particular vendetta against smugglers who
agree to get migrants across the border from the
south, but who then hold them for ransom or sell
them to traffickers. In her journeys she’s also met
several Nuwisha, and she’s found them to be quite
helpful as long as their goals coincide.
84. Bruce “Occupy” Hardcastle: An anti-wealth
protester, Bruce thinks that raising a collective
voice (and a collective stink) is the best way to get
results when it comes to what the people need. A
street-level lawyer who knows all the tricks used
to discourage the underdogs from howling, he’s
been a thorn in the establishment’s side for years.
Worse than being persistent, though, he has the
ability to sum up the issues behind a protest in a
clear, succinct way that makes for a compelling
soundbite.
85. Melissa “Guardian” Graves: With a Nigerian
accent and a Birmingham attitude, Melissa earned
her name for the pictures and videos she shoots of
life on the street, from the street. An advocate for
dignity and justice for all, she also records abuses
of authority by the police, and she’s caught more
than one politician on a live mic via her phone
saying something they would rather the public not
have heard.
Kinfolk
86. Bobby “Lone Wolf” Baker: A heavy-
shouldered Hood with a heart of gold and an iron
fist, Bobby rarely stays in one place for long.
Usually the long-haired outlaw is only in town
long enough to pull a job and drop off the take
before roaring out onto the highway to lay low
in whatever safe house the camp has around. He
knows it’s just a matter of time until someone
comes for him, though; the rich don’t let thieves
go lightly.
87. Denny “Doc” Brown: Waffling between
becoming a nurse or a vet, Denny ended up
halfway between and doing neither. In debt to his
eyeballs, he’s found he has just enough knowledge
to help those who need it most in his corner of San
Diego, California. From colds and cuts, to helping
provide first aid at the scene of an accident, what
Denny lacks in official training and certification he
more than makes up for in experience at this point.
Especially if you count the bullets he’s dug out of
the Bone Gnawer pack who keeps an eye on his
block.
88. Billie “Blinker” Gunderson: A Tampa Bay,
Florida regular, no one’s really sure where the
heavily-pierced beach bum got her nickname.
Often dressed in an over-sized shirt that looks like
a piece of tourist bait from a gift shop, and a pair
of paint-stained cutoffs, Billie has an unusual skill
set that keeps her in-demand. A basement chemist
who can make anything from vegan soap, to
crystal meth, to off-grid gas, or even dynamite, her
knowledge and experience has come in handy to
the tribe several times.

89. Maurie “Guerilla Radio” Gelder: The
decentralization of radio presented a lot of
opportunities, but it also snuffed out a lot of
careers. Maurie’s was one of them. Sitting at a
greasy spoon and drinking his one cup of coffee
that he’d refill for the next few hours, he held forth
at length on the problems folks without a safety
net faced. Articulate, clear, and with an undertone
of righteous fury in his voice, he was mesmerizing.
His server caught most of that first sermon on his
smartphone, and told Maurie that he could start a
podcast of his own if he could keep that up. Now a
regular midnight recorder who does his sets from
the back booth during the wee hours, Maurie gets
the message out about the street-level challenges
he and others have to cope with.
90. Roxanne Arnolds: A film buff who can talk
about nearly any genre or release, Roxy is one
of those theater hoppers who will spend all day
ducking ushers and watching movies from the
comfort of a stolen seat. An endearing rogue who’s
made a dozen friends on the staff of her favorite
movie house, she recently started a movie blog.
Updated from the local coffee shop on her phone,
or from the downtown library, the ability to give
shout-outs to the theaters who give her a critic’s
pass has cut down significantly on the amount of
scrutiny she has to put up with.
91. Lonnie Hawkins: A left-handed bassist,
Lonnie’s been a fill-in player for a dozen different
bands over the years. He’s even been on a couple
of famous tracks. He’s mostly reliable for keeping
the beat, but he has a habit of vanishing whenever
a groupie gives him a come-hither look. He’s
responsible for adding quite a number of children
to the tribe, even if he isn’t always sure exactly
where they are.
92. Mandy Prescott: A juggler, sleight of hand
artist, and street magician, Mandy always gets
a few laughs and a lot of applause when she
launches into her act. While she likes it when
people offer her a tip or two, she does her act
for charity on a fairly regular basis. Fortunately
having a good heart in Seattle, Washington can
take you pretty far in the right circles.

93. Mickey Taggart: A tall, angular figure in a
beat-up trench coat, Mickey has a lot of time, and
an insatiable curiosity. While they don’t have any
sort of official permit or investigator’s license, they
do have friends who kick them work from time to
time. Stakeouts and tail jobs help keep the lights
on, and having acquaintances who know how to

Vincent “Gavel” Lucita, it’s said that the philodox
learned everything he knows about fairness and
justice from his mother. And when Vincent’s pack
isn’t available to rule on disputes, Maria is the one
who sits in, cigarette in hand, to hear both parties
out.
96. Gordon Grassley: A Cleveland, Ohio native,
Gordon pounds the pavement day after day just to
keep an eye on what’s happening in his city. He’s
on a first-name basis with every cop, server, and
cashier down the boulevards, and he always does
his best to brighten everyone’s day. Whenever
something goes down, Gordon always seems to
be the first one to know about it. Which means the
Blacktop Stalkers, the pack who protect Gordon’s
part of the city, are always well-informed.
97. Katie Kinnear: A road warrior of the first
degree, Katie’s “cab” went legit around the time
that driving apps really came into their own.
Willing to slam a couple of energy drinks to
drive through the night, Katie is also the ride of
choice for kin, and even garou, who need to get
somewhere in a hurry around Fort Lauderdale,
Florida.

98. Savage: With muscles like coiled steel, and

teeth like lightning, this wolf is always ready to
fight. Some of his scars are from great battles
where he fought alongside packs of garou against
the servants of the Wyrm. Some of them are
from shameful bouts where he was bloodied for
overstepping his place. Good or bad, noble or
ignoble, Savage is always ready for another row.

99. Bridgette “Screamer” Harrison: Blessed with

eye-catching curves and a perfect screaming
voice, Bridgette has already appeared in countless
low-budget films. A handy-cam starlet with a
middlingly successful Instagram account, she’s
embraced her roles as zombie victim, serial killer,
morgue body, soap opera cheesecake, and many
others. She’ll probably never win an award that
isn’t a Razzy, but she loves to work, and she
knows her share of industry professionals.

100. Banquo Phillips: Found abandoned in a back

alley as a baby by Luis “Red Hand” Phillips,
the lupus garou was no stranger to rearing pups,
whether they had two or four legs. Named for one
of Luis’s favorite Shakespeare characters, Banquo
has grown tall, broad, and faster than a man of
his size has any right to be. A warrior and a poet,
though he’s still young, he’s proven himself more
than capable of standing alongside his tribe when
business needs to be handled.
