INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background

History of PT. SUKA BATIK SOLO

1. Description
PT SUKA BATIK SOLO produces brownish white or cream colored batik, which
began to be developed from August 2023 until now, It is quite difficult to
market written batik due to the high price but in this day and age of
technology and the many online buying and selling media and... it makes it
easier for written batik to develop in the market, because with all of this we
can cover a wider range of consumers and introduce the true meaning of
written batik with the level of difficulty in making it and the artistry in it which
makes consumers know the true price of original Solo written batik

The Specialties of Batik

Batik has distinctive characteristics in writing processes. The dye used
comes from natural ingredients, namely soga, so it produces a brownish
base color. All batik displays a graceful, soft and tough impression,The
aesthetic value is high because it is made in a complicated and detailed
manner,Using special canting,And made from the soul.

Weaknesses of Batik
• The duration of making written batik is considered very long when
compared to printed batik or other types of batik, because the work
is complicated
• The price of our write batik is relatively more expensive
 • marketing in the lower middle class is difficult because the price is
expensive

Superiority of Batik
• It is made with special tools so that it adheres to the traditional
cultural elements that characterize cash batik
• Batik Has an Infinite Richness of Motifs. Each Batik Motif Has Its Own
Meaning and Symbolism, Representing Local Culture and Wisdom.
Through its motifs, Batik is able to tell the history, traditions and life
of Indonesian society.
• Batik is made from cotton and silk, making it comfortable to wear

Batik marketing targets :

• can involve art and culture lovers
• the local fashion industry
• and foreign tourists
 Marketing Strategis

Marketing strategy utilizes :

social media, online shops (Shopee, Lazada pedia store) and international
cultural fashion exhibitions

Cost Producing and Selling Price

The cost of materials and the production process for 1 meter of batik cloth is
Rp. 50.000,-
Marketing, advertising/exhibition costs 15%
The estimated profit from sales is 50% of the selling price of 1 meter of batik
cloth
Net income from selling 1 meter batik: 50%-15% = 35% 50 thousand x 35%=
Rp. 17500,-

Conclusion
Our BATIK is made with the best materials such as cotton and silk, because
Batik is the work of the Indonesian people which is a combination of art and
technology by the ancestors of the Indonesian people, therefore batik in our
company must be made as carefully as possible with heart and soul and that is
also what characteristics of batik made by our company
