UNIT II
PROCEDURES

1.0 SCOPE

The scope of this training procedure is applicable for all the newly recruited personnel of the
organization.

2.0 RESPONSIBILITY

HR Executive is responsible for arranging the induction training programs for all the newly
recruited employees in co-ordination with the section in charges.

3.0 PROCEDURE

3.1 Training is given to the newly inducted personnel of employment covering all the following
topics.

3.1.1 Background of the company, organizational structure, products, and customers.

3.1.2 Company Policies and details about WRAP system in the company and its importance.

3.1.3 Company procedures on Disciplinary actions, Complaints, Accidents etc,

3.1.4 Nature of work for the newly inducted employee.

3.1.5 Health and Safety Regulations.

3.1.6 Terms and Conditions of employment

3.1.7 Category, Grade, Date of payment of wages, Details of pay as per pay slip.

3.1.8 Holiday, Applicable leaves, Intervals etc.,

3.1.9 Working Hours.

3.1.10 Workers Welfare Committee and other committees in the company and their activities. are
in existence in the company and the role that they play.

3.1.11 Information on the grievance handling/ counseling mechanisms that exist in the company.

3.1.12 Employees are also specifically informed about the disciplinary practices in the company
