SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Pattern:
The SSC CGL Tier I exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) exam
conducted online. Candidates are given a total of 60 minutes to solve the
SSC CGL Tier-I paper comprising 100 questions that count to a total of 200
marks (2 marks each question). For each wrong attempt, candidates are
penalized with 1/2 marks in the Tier-1 exam.
There are 4 sections in Tier I of the SSC CHSL exam which are given below:
1. Reasoning Ability [25 Questions]

2. Quantitative Aptitude [25 Questions]

3. English Language [25 Questions]

4. General Awareness [25 Questions] SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pa ern:

Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions - Session I & Session II, on the
same day and is compulsory for all candidates who qualify in Paper 1.
Session-I will include conducting Sec on-I, Sec on-II and Module-I of Sec on-
III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Sec on III. It will be
mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all the sections of Paper-I.

SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam Pattern:
The SSC CHSL Tier I exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) exam

Sec on-3: Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test and Module-II: Skill Test/
Typing Test
Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions - Session- 1 & Session-2, on same
day. Session-I will include conducting of Sec on-1, Sec on-2 and Module-1
of Sec on-3. Session-2 will include conducting of Module-2 of Sec on-3.
Tier-2 will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for
Module-2 of Sec on 3. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except
for Module-2 (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Sec on
2.
There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Sec on-1,
Sec on-2 and Module-I of Sec on-3.
