Prism Detrimental Image Guidelines

Overview
In this hitapp, you will be asked to identify if a given image is defective or detrimental. You
will be given a list of issues(types of problematic content) to choose one main issue from.

If the image is not available even after clicking on the link provided, choose ‘image did not
load’. If there are no issues with the image, please select ‘Ok to show’.

Types of Detrimental Content


The following types of content should be marked as detrimental

Abuse(people/Animal) Expressions of abuse,
including threats or
degrading statements
intended to mock,
humiliate, embarrass,
intimidate, or hurt an
individual or animal
Examples:
- Child labor
- Animal
exploitation and
abuse
Adult/Racy Content depicting
graphic sexual activity
and nudity
Hate Inappropriate or swear
Speech/Misinformation words in image,
false/inaccurate
information, hate
speech against an
individual or a group of
people(censored
content is not
considered detrimental)

Violence/Gore Promoting Violence, or


related to terrorism,
traffic accidents that
cause casualties or
vehicle
deformation/damage.
Gruesome injuries
Dangerous Goods & Guns/weapons, illicit
Substance Abuse hard drugs, regulated
goods e. g. alcohol,
tobacco, marijuana,
and paraphernalia,
unapproved
medicine/online
pharmacies, Ponzi
scheme products

Ok to Show Safe content is any


content that does not
harm, offend, or violate
the rights of anyone.
Safe content is
respectful, appropriate,
and suitable for all
audiences.

Child Sexualization Inappropriate images of
minors that depict them in
suggestive poses or with
revealing clothing for
modeling or otherwise

Mild Racy Any content that is


potentially racy, but not
explicit or graphic. For
example, content that
features people wearing
bikinis or other revealing
clothing that does not
involve sexual intent
and does not show any
part of the pubic area or
buttocks
Youth Safety Content that features
underage people with
tight clothing, revealing
cloth, exposed skin near
an intimate body part
like the upper part of the
thigh (applies to young
people under the age of
18)
