Dear Sir,
In continuation to below mail regarding the placement of Bird Reflectors we would like to mention herewith the
subscript of point 12 in Agenda 3 – 54.3.1 which states about the placement of Bird Reflectors as below & attached:
Line markers should be as large as possible. The spacing between them should not be more than 5 m
to 10 m. Marker devices should be chosen to contrast as much as possible with the background
colours, and importantly, should be visible at night, for most bird collisions are said to occur at night
On the basis of this the guidelines are being intercepted as below:

Hence on the basis of 2nd guideline applicable to us, Bird Reflectors will be installed in ~2.5 kms stretch (GIB Prone
area) on 1 phase (RYB) and the Earthwire consecutively at 10 MTRS distance.
This is in concurrence with Adani Site Team as well.
Kindly give your concurrence on this please.

In the same line, we propose to install BD-29 model of M/s Indolight. Attached sheet has the design & specifications
of the same.
We plan to Supply these within this month itself & hence early approvals are solicited.
Also to let you know that Wildlife Institute of India has appreciated this Design of Indolight.
However written letter has not been issued for particular company for reasons understandable.

Note that Bird Flight Diverter design BD-29 is found generally Okay and acceptable. Arrange to include Owner,
Project & Line Details in Title of Drawing and GTP also submit all part drawings including all dimensions and weight
of each component for review and approval.
Note that still one unanswered question that “whether any relevant statutory body has approved these item
drawings or not? If yes, then share the same.” In my opinion Supplier can clarify that any statutory
body/Government authorized body that is looking after & controlling developments in the area prone to bird flying..
did approved this product? Share the details.

Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your kind attention that earlier these diverters were made based on wind pressure in respective
areas.
Models were named on the basis of wind zone, for which these were designed e.g. BD-02 (for wind zone 2), BD-05
(for wind zone 5) etc.
Later Wild Life Authority of India and MoEF senior officials advised that these need to be designed considering storm
situations ranging up to 100 kms/hour.
Hence, suitable improvisations were done in models BD-02 and BD-05 & new design was made i.e. BD-29.
Approvals required by you are as below:

The Bird Flight Diverter Model BD-05 has been improvised and has been titled as BD-29 now. The same has also been
mentioned in product drawings.
The attached specifications of Bird Flight Diverter have been drafted by Wild Life Institute of India/ MoEF. These
