Unit 12. Don’t ride your bike too fast!

Play with matches (v) chơi, nghịch diêm, run down the stairs: chạy xuống cầu thang Get a burn: bị bỏng

Why shouldn’t I + việc nguy hiểm không được phép làm ?

Because you may + sự nguy hiểm có thể xảy ra

Ex: Why shouldn’t I play with the knife? Tại sao tôi không được chơi với dao

Because you may cut yourself. Bởi vì bạn có thể bị đứt tay

2/ hỏi lý do tại sao lại chọn một nghề trong tương lai

Why would you like to be a/an + nghề nghiệp?

Because I’d like to + tính đặc trưng của nghề nghiêp hoặc lý do cụ thể của bản thân..

Ex: Why would you like to be a writer? Tại sao bạn muốn trở thành nhà văn?

Because I’d like to write stories for children. bởi vì tôi muốn viết truyện cho trẻ em.

MY HOBBY

My name is Peter. My hobby is reading. I spend hours reading books. There are always interesting stories to read and things to learn. My dad read to me before going to bed

when I was a little boy. The stories were full of witches, fairies, princes, princesses,.… and other fascinating characters. I liked to imagine that I was the knight who saved

the princess locked in a tower.

I prefer other types of stories now because I’m older. I particularly enjoy reading action and adventure stories. It’s fun to believe that I’m the hero who fights the bad guys!

And I’m also interested in real life stories because they make me think and imagine my reactions to many different situations in life. I think reading is a really interesting and

exciting experience!
