Topic will be introduced – “Exploring about air”

Teacher will ask students to share property done, in their previous science lesson.
Teacher will show Did you know slide for the students to take their opinions on the displayed picture of the wind tower.

Ideate ( 15 – 20 minutes)
(Guided instruction and guided practice with differentiation)
Teacher will call one student volunteer to come and demonstrate the following to the class.
Take the glass of water and blow into it.
Rest will think, pair and share their opinion on the same.

Activity assigned

They will record their observation in the record sheet.

Group 4,5

Students will use two water bottles. One closed and the other open.
They will try to crush both the bottles and record their observation.

Consolidate (8 – 10 minutes)
Students will share their recorded observations.

Teacher will question from each group in relation

to the task given to investigate.

Is it harder or easier to make the paint move?

What happens if we dilute the paint and blow it across paper?
What would happen if you used different size straws?
Extended Task:
