Test Taking Related Questions:


1. How do I take the test?
• Once you have received Assessment / Test invitation. Click on the Test link
provided in the template which will redirect you to test platform
• Upon redirection count down of 25 Seconds will run showing you with test’s
structure
• Please ensure proper internet connection which internet speed will be
checked. Upon having minimum required internet speed, you will be further
proceeding to Face Identification
• Please ensure you have plain background while performing Face
Identification. Upon successful face verification you will be further
proceeding to Screen Share
• Please ensure you select Share Entire Screen. Upon successful sharing you
will be automatically taken to test screen

2. What are the precautions to be taken before attending the exam?


• Make sure you have the updated version of Chrome Browser installed
• Clean up Cache, History & Cookies in your browser
• Disable/Uninstall Antivirus, block all notifications and Enable Call
forwarding
• Make sure you have another internet connection/ mobile hotspot which acts as
an internet backup
• Make sure you have a power backup for the duration of the exam
• Keep all the required stationery in front of the test screen and not at the sides
• Have a plain wall as your background while taking the test
• Try to take the exam in a disruption free environment
3. What do I do if my network speed is not sufficient?
• Use other network providers which meets the specified bandwidth
requirement specified by the test platform
• Arrange to take the test at a place where the necessary bandwidth is available
4. Why is my image not getting captured during the webcam check?
• Make sure your face is visible inside the circle on the screen while capturing
the image
• Sit near and upright to the camera and have a proper lighting in front of you
for maximum clarity
• Avoid presence of bright light behind you so that image quality is not
distorted.

5. I am getting a message saying, "Test Validity Expired" when I try to


take the test?
• When a test is attempted after the allowed test start time, the message, "Test
Validity Expired", will be displayed
• Please check the timetable and the exam schedule you are allocated by the
College/University

6. How to unblock my camera?


• Go to Chrome Settings.
• In the Privacy and Security Tab and click on Site Settings.
• Then click on Camera and Unblock the Camera option
• Further, try to check whether camera has been disabled via Keyboard

7. I am stuck at the web cam check. How should I proceed?


• Please ensure the web camera is working well
• Use the link to check webcam - https://webcammictest.com/
• If the webcam being used is faulty, try to make use of another system with a
working webcam for taking the test.

8. My image is clear, but my photo is not getting. How should I


proceed?
• This is due to some packages related to WebGL unavailable in the
chrome browser. Uninstalling and reinstalling chrome should
solve the issue or using Firefox will solve the issue
• The Chrome settings are blocking WebGL services that is the
reason for the error since the face is clearly visible

9. I am stuck at the microphone check. How should I proceed?


• Please ensure the microphone is working well

• If the microphone being used is faulty, try to make use of another system with
a working microphone for taking the test
10. I am stuck at the browser check. How should I proceed?
• Please ensure that the latest version of Google Chrome /Mozilla Firefox
browser is installed and being used for the examination

11. Why am I getting alerts regarding Tab Switch?


• When the candidate opens another tab, makes a click outside the test screen,
or goesaway from the test taking screen, this message will be displayed
• Notifications can also trigger these alerts. Please disable all notifications to
avoid these alerts
• If tab switch limit is crossed, the test will be automatically submitted

12. I had an internet/power issue, and my test has stopped/crashed.


How do I proceed?
• Please re-login with the same user ID and password
• The Test Resume option will be available which can be used to resume the
test from where it crashed

13. I have problem with my mobile. Can I switch to laptop or


vice versa?
• Yes, switch over is allowed but please re-login with the same user
ID and password
• The Test Resume option will be available which can be used to
resume the test from where it crashed

14. Can I submit the test before the test duration has ended?
• Yes, the candidate can submit the test by using the “Submit Test” option
available on the top right corner after they have completed the test

1) Can I take the test in a Mobile Phone?
a. No, Test can be taken only in Laptop or desktop

2) Can I take the test without a microphone?


a. No, A microphone in working condition is compulsory to take the test

3) How do I use a calculator during the test?


a. There is an on-screen calculator available in the test taking screen. You can
launch the calculator by clicking on the Calculator Icon on the bottom center of
thescreen.

4) I am facing an issue with sharing my screen. How do I proceed?


a. Please click on the Entire Screen option that is displayed on the screen, and click
on Share to proceed with Sharing the screen. Refer the video for better
understanding: Loom Video
Note: If you are using an Apple device, kindly allow access for Sharing the screen fromyour
device settings.

1. How to answer Coding type questions?
 Give yourself enough time and understand the question thoroughly
 If the question accepts any compiler then you can select the compiler in which you are
confident
 Use “Compile” to check your solution against given test cases
 Use “Compile and Run” to check your solution against answer and all the test cases
 If you feel your solution is correct Click on “Submit Code” to save the answer on to
server
 If any error in code Compiler provides you with line level error upon compilation
 Edit your answer and compile again to pass failed test cases

3. How to disconnect Secondary display?


 Screen casting devices like smart tv / other smart devices are connect to the same
network you are trying to take the exam
 Disconnect those devices to continue the exam
 Any smart device connected to your internet connection will cause this. Kindly switch
to different connection
