1.0 OBJECTIVE
For the effective implementation of the Halal Assurance System (HAS) so as to ensure the
safety of food product packaging.
2.0 SCOPE
This training covers all the LCS personnel that have direct contact with the processing of
food packaging.
3.0 DEFINITION
External training - training that is conducted outside the factory.
Internal training - training conducted in the factory.

5.0 RESPONSIBILITY
a) The HR Executive is responsible for this procedure.
b) All Production staff that has direct contact with the products shall implement the system
after training.
6.0 PROCEDURES
6.1 Training Programme
a. For new employees, a briefing on company rules and regulations, staff benefits and
facilities are to be given during induction day.
b. Any other job related to work; training is to be given as ‘On the Job Training’ by the
respective superior/HOD to brief on the job scope.
c. All production workers are to be given training on basic GMP & Halal including
Hygiene and Sanitation Program. GMP & Halal training is given to ensure that, all
production workers at all level understand the importance of implementation and
maintenance of GMP & Halal which are control factor that affect the processing
operation.
