In the modern life English becomes more and more popular in society. Many
people believe that English should be chosen as the main language. I strongly agree
with this idea because of reasons which are discussed in the following essay.
 It is clear that there are some reasons why people agree with this idea. First of
all, one of the most important reasons why English should be chosen as the main
language is that It is a language popular in the world. There are many countries that
use English such as Canada, Australia and Singapore. They use English as the official
language. In addition, another typical reason is that it helps our countries to develop
economically. It helps us communicate with other countries. To show an example is
canada. They use English as the main language. They developed the economy. It is
very great.
On the other hand, some people disagree with this statement. Firstly, one of the
most important reasons of this problem is that it is very hard to learn. Because they
often use their mother language. It is difficult for them to learn another language.
Beside that, another typical reason is that there is no separate language for each
country, so all countries in the world will speak English. There is no country specific
language.
To sum up, from what we have discussed above. Although there are many
reasons why we should consider this problem carefully. In my opinion, the benefits
always outweigh the drawbacks, so I strongly agree that English should be chosen as
the main language.
