Mother’s Day Shawl

Gina Knight Designs

An exquisite gift for any grandmother, mother, sister, friend, or to yourself, the Mother’s
Day Shawl is just the right warmth for any season of the year or for any occasion. It is
light weight, drapey, and a size that allows it to be styled in many ways.

The project is knit in garter stitch o setting a simple lace pattern that will be in memory
quickly. Once it is underway, there will be no need for absolute silence or isolation while
knitting. It would be a reasonable lace pattern for novice knitters, but is interesting
enough to keep experienced knitters interested. Bands of a coordinating colorway add
pizzazz and your particular choice will create a unique expression of your work.

The completed and blocked shawl measures 82”x 17” using ngering weight yarn and
a U.S. size 5 needle.

Size: One Size. 82” x 17”
