Notes

 Atlantic Hall is a fully residential community and consider ourselves a

network of friends. Our school rules reflect the school community's
expectations in terms of acceptable standards of behavior, dress, and
personal presentation in the widest sense. Students are expected to
follow the school rules at all times; when on the school grounds,
representing the school, attending a school activity outside the school
premises, or when associated with the school. `
 Students are expected to have a sense of self-discipline and
independence, taking responsibility for their actions, but knowing that
they are guided and looked after by a trusted community. This code is
designed to help our students therein.

 All students MUST accept and abide by the school rules. Parents and
students are required to sign an undertaken that they will respect and
abide by the school rules and all decisions made and communicated by
the principal and her staff.

Expectations

 All students must be able to recite the National Anthem, National Pledge,
and Atlantic Hall School Anthem.

 Students must be punctual and follow the Daily Time Schedule (any
student not in the correct timetabled activity will face appropriate
sanctions).

 Students must attend all lessons and activities with the appropriate
books and materials.

 Students must not bring any item that is banned. Any banned item will
be confiscated and will NOT be returned to the student. Please read the
list of banned items carefully as this rule will be strictly adhered to.

 Students may not enter hazardous areas or handle hazardous materials

or equipment.

 Students must follow health and safety guidance.

Code of Conduct

 All school community members are to be treated equally with respect

and dignity.
 Everyone is expected to move around the school in a quiet, careful
manner, and on the right-hand side of the walkway/staircase.

 Everyone is expected to treat all areas of the school compound with care
and respect, keeping the school environment clean and tidy.

 Responsible citizenship involves appropriate participation in the civic life

of the school. Everyone should be aware of their rights and
responsibilities and accept responsibility for protecting their rights and
the rights of others.

 All school community members have a responsibility to maintain a

culture where conflict and differences can be addressed with respect
and civility. To this end, all members of the school community are
expected to use non-aggressive means to resolve conflict. Physical
aggression will result in immediate suspension (or expulsion in serious
cases) for any member of the school community.

 When off campus, we must remember that we are all ambassadors of

the school and behave in a manner that reflects positively on our school
and does not cause the good name of the school to be brought into
disrepute.

 Students must stay in the designated areas of the school grounds, as

indicated in the timetable or wider guidance.

 Students must not use or handle school property without the

appropriate authority.

 For the health and safety of all school community members, students

hazardous areas around the school.

 Students should arrive at school on resumption days between 12.00 pm

and 5.00 pm in House wear. Late resumption will attract sanctions.

 Students should leave the school only on scheduled closing days and not
