Materials and tools
Yarn - DK Yarn in White and Red
Crochet hook - 2,75/3.00 mm
Rice or sand
Fiberfill
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Abbreviations (US terms)
sc - single crochet
slst - slip stitch
BLO - back loop only
FLO - front loop only
inc = increase (make 2 single crochet in one
stitch)
dec = decrease (single crochet 2 stitches
together using FLO)
(…)*6 = repeat whatever is before the * the
number of time indicated
[12] = number of stitches you should have at
the end of the round
Rnd 1 = Rnd is indicating the ‘round’ and
then is the corresponding number of each

Rnd 1: 8sc into a magic ring [8]
Rnd 2: inc*8 [16]
Rnd 3: (1sc, inc)*8 [24]
Rnd 4: 24sc BLO
Rnd 5: (3sc, inc)*6 [30]

When finish the cap do not cut the yarn. Take the
stem and make 56 sl st all the way around working
on both the stem and the cap together. When you
have around 15 stitches left fill with some fiberfill.
Do not overstuff.

a few french knots.
