1 Introduction
STORM short for “Smart Terminal Operations Remote Manager” is a cloud-based system that provides
real-time control and insights of each device, enabling operators to remotely manage their terminal's devices.
Here are some FAQ, STORM TMS can easily solve your problems and help you to manage your devices safely
and effectively.
The Feitian STORM TMS platform mainly includes ten functional modules: “Dashboard,Partner
management,Device management,Firmware management,App management,Push management,Key management,
Settings, User management and Audit & Report”. The platform adopts the currently popular adaptive and
configurable web structure, supporting various mainstream browsers such as Chrome, IE11+, Firefox.
2 Login
Enter the “Email/User name and Password” to log in to the platform. If you forget your login password, you
can click the “Forget Password” button to proceed.
3 Dashboard
On the map, we can see devices status and geographic location. If devices’ icon in red, it means offline,not
connected to the device; if in green, means connected to the internet and here are some statistics to show how
many active/inactive devices, how many are under activation. and devices online/offline statistics.

5 Device Management
5.1 Device
Device information summary (refer to Device Parameters compulsory confirmation for more information),
state synchronization control, Device Settings.
Here are a list of devices. The icon in red color means the device is offline as mentioned above; green means
online; whereas gray not activated.
For public cloud only Feitian support team will help to add devices.
For public cloud only Feitian support team will help to add firmware.
When adding device, the following are needed, in which “SN and Model Version” are required fields.
When device not activated, user can not use STORM to manage devices, unless activate by turning on the
“Activate” button.
If the device is tampered, you can double-click the yellow area”0007”(for example) to detamper, which need
the Partner authorize and email verification to detamper.
As mentioned above, also can choose “Edit, Delete, Settings,Refresh Device,Remote Control,Timeline and
Disable Device”
Select one device, click “Settings” button above. Then shows the “Device Settings”.
To import a lot of devices for a particular partner, user can also set Partner/Customer/Merchant/Store,
Manufacture and group for these devices importing.
Manufacturer Import: To import multiple Manufacturers and its model, along with model version.
5.2 UI
5.2.1 Wallpaper
We can wake up the application from this activity and give those parameters to this application
If uninstalled, the agent will check if installed and active, if not active,wake up the device before giving those
parameters.
Terminal Profile will be processed automatically while device connect to Internet after activation.
Limit devices’ moving range in a planed area. User is able to set the action if out of the Fence.
Capture the log information of device according to different log types”AP and SP”, then device sends back the
log file to STORM and STORM will show on the web side. Also, user is able to download the log file by .txt type.
5.8 Manufacture
Users are able to add manufacturer multilevel information,model version.etc. Meanwhile, user is able to read,
modify or delete model information depending on different user role permission.
Manufactures’ Model Version, management the manufacturer and multi-vendors’ (generally merchandise
store ) model version.
5.9 Group
Manage the lists of the devices inside the group. To separate devices into small groups, convenient for users
to do devices management. Now we can manipulate multiple devices from one group to another group;
Drag devices from available list to selected list to add into group as follows.
6 Firmware Management
For the Android system update or bug fix. When pushing a firmware to a device, it directly updates the
corresponding AP or SP.
Users can push firmware or update devices by click “push”button, and choose update strategy to determine
whether update now or in a scheduled period time.
Besides, can manage(add) firmware versions and choose which version to update.
7 App Management
7.1 Application
Applications can push the firmware to a group of device or one device.users can not directly see the changes,
app will be present on the screen.
Besides, users can also add push APP or update APP version by pushing patch file etc.
All the application should be signed by STORM so that can be installed to Feitian devices and used by users,
we need to guarantee the safety of the app devices are using;
8 Push Management
To make a plan for different actions with time sequence to grouped devices.
8.3 Message
STORM manager is able to create and push messages to device, so that device holders can receive emergency
messages from manager.
8.4 Advertisement
By using materials from file of the Partner, admin or manager can set advertisement for different Partners at
screensaver position.
8.5 File
File management: users are able to upload files,such as advertisement, and push to devices.
Certification management
9 Key Management
Many payment applications need keys followed with cryptography. Catch the key according to different
Partners, and STORM will generate different types of key: TMK, ZMK and so on.

For Now, STORM supports MK/SK system at Batch Import, Due to HSM limit restriction, not support DUKPT
system(IPEK).
To push the key that just caught from HSM into device for security purpose.

11 User Management
11.1 User
User list: Display all the account information that has been created, and can activate account, edit info and
refresh status.
Each account has its own role to identify the level of system authority, using the user's email as a unique
identifier. Able to set random password or initial password for users.Partner/Customer/Merchant are used to
identify different user levels.
Role name should follow naming rules, please refer to STORM system account rating system.
9.2.1 Assign permission to role: Each module has “Read, Write, Delete,Push,Edit TID and Disable” authority
functions, the holder can assign authority to a role according to the role level. While ticked, is equal to the
corresponding read, write, delete authority given to this module.
Roles permissions
Report Management is going to generate different types of Report for users, including Excel and PDF format
according to different Modules.
