What is ELUEL SHEMEA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (ESCAI)?


is a Christian private school that offering academics excellent and Christian
education based on Biblical doctrines and God’s principle of salvation and righteousness
to creates a solid foundation in mind, emotion, spirit and physical quality.

grounded by Christian faith, values and dedicated in equipping students by God’s word
that would change them into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ and to apply God’s
principle in their lives that they may be open minded in every situation, every challenges
or opportunities comes their pathway.

PURPOSE STATEMENT

academically excellent, to be rooted in God’s principle that founded upon the
authoritative and powerful God’s Word which gives spiritual training to become abetter
person and leaders. Our purpose is to build excellent student in a Godly character.

ELUEL SHEMEA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY – is committed to excellence in academic
achievement and quality of instruction, in partnership with the home and church. It
recognizes that Christian Education can only be realized in the integration of the total
person under the Lorship of Jesus Christ, involving the individual’s spiritual, moral,
academic, physical and emotional needs. We believe the concepts of a Christian
Education Philosophy include the following:

1. God is the source of all wisdom and truth.

2. God has given differing abilities to each student. It is the teacher’s responsibility
to challenge each child according to this ability and seek to develop each child’s
potential to the utmost.

3. We encourage learning envolves interaction between people and ideas and


believes an individuality, personal worth, equality and purpose.

4. We strive to enable students to become critical thinkers, effective communicators


and scripturally educated learners utilizing individualized instruction and through
interpersonal relationships.

as an extension of the home and church.

ELUEL SHEMEA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY INC. IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL CATERED THE
CHILDREN WHOSE PARENTS ARE NOT BURDERSOME IN HIGH TUITION FEE AND MANY
FEES. THIS INSTITUTION IS AFFORDABLE FOR MANY PARENTS AND ASSURED THE QUALITY
OF EDUCATION.

 it has been very important to teach our children the importance of having a
life in connection with God.
 A life centered on God brings stability and strength.
 Teach the pupils to love God with all their heart, with all their soul and with
all their mind and with all their strength as God first commandment stated
in Matthew 22:37.

 Practice them to go to church, pray, reading the Bible in school and at home.

 is the practice of being honest, truthfulness and showing a consistent and
uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and
values.
 Helping the pupils to develop this core values for the purpose and
significance of their lives.
 Instilling the integrity in the mind of every pupil by telling the truth, honest
when they did mistake.
 helps them to anticipate the consequences of unethical behavior.
 Helps them to have a right decisions, a positive impact on them and others
around them

HOW TO BE A GOOD
PRE-SCHOOLER?

1. Come to school on time


 Take a bath
 Eat your meal before going to school
 Be in school 5min. Before your scheduled time.
2. Come to school in complete uniform
 wear your ID
 avoid wearing jewelries – you may break or lose them.
3. Keep yourself clean and healthy
4. Come to school prepared
 Do your homework at home
 Ask your parents to check your work
 Make sure your school materials like notebook , pencil eraser are
inside your bag.
5. Keep your things neat and clean
 Your name, level and section are written on all your school materials.
 Your notebooks and workbooks are all covered and labeled
 Always fix your own things before you leave the classroom.
6. Care for the things of others
 Pick up papers or trash on the floor and throw it on the trash bin.

 Do not write on the wall , table, chairs and chalkboard with your pencil and
crayon.
 Give to teacher the things you find that don’t belong to you.

7. Use bathroom properly

GUIDELINES FOR
PARENTS

1. Attendance
a. Regular attendanceis importantif the child is to profit from daily
activities in class.Attendance is required of all pre-schoolers
b. A pupil who has been absent – present an excuse letter.

2. Punctuality
a. Pupils are encouranged to develop the habit of punctuality.

3. Dismissal
- Parents or guardian should fetch thier child 5min before the
dismissal time.

4. Suspension of Classes
- Suspenssion of the classes due to natural calamities such
as typhoon is governed by the DEPED or City Mayor
- Typoon Signal No. 1 classes automatically suspended for
pre-school pupils.
- Special Announcement will be posted on the gate of school

5. IDENTIFACATION CARD (I.D.)


a. The I.D. card is an im portant document that identifies the child as
registered pupil of ESCAI
b. If the child come to school without I.D. the parent will make an excuse
letter.

6. PAYMENTS
a. Parents should pay the registration, books, uniforms and I.D. upon
enrollment if the mode of payment is installment
b. If the mode of payment is cash for the entire year 5% will be given as a
discount.
7. FIELD TRIP
a. Field trip is part of the school activitie, Thay are very important in the
growth and developmentof every pupil. Therfore every pupils is
expecated to join this acativity.
AIMs:
 Expose the pupils to the world outside the school
 Provide direct experience of the things learned insife the classroom
 Make this outside world an extnsion of thier classroom.
 Socialize with classmate outside the school.
b. The management will inform the places to be visited, time departure
and arrival, proper attire and things that can bring.

SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

The following activities are celebrated every school year. They are integrated
with the different subject areas and thematic in approach.
1. Nutrition Week – held in July to instill health consciousness for the children and to realize
the importance of eating a well balance diet.
2. Filipino Week – held last week of August to instill love of country and commemorate
Manuel L. Quezon “Ama ng Wika”.
3. English Week – held lat week of September to instill love for reading and develop oral and
written communication skills in English.
4. Educational Field Trip – held before semestral break in October to let the children
experience that education is not only confined the four walls of the classroom. With venues
and activitiers for fun and learn something worthwhile.
5. Math Week – held on November to develop skills, interest and love for Math. To have fun
and games in Math
6. Christmas Program – held on 2nd week of December- To expose thier talents like singing,
dancing and to develop stage personality
7. Science Week – held on February- increase interest in Science world and discover some
knowlege.
8. Recognition and Moving –up Rites – held on last week of March – to affirm and appreciate
them for thier ability, hard work and sense of responsibility.

PASSING GRADES

Passing Grades – at least 75%

FAILING GRADES
- If the pupil have a general grade below 75 automatically failed.

BULLYING POLICIES

The principal and the teachers should responsible for


implementation and oversight intended to address bullying.
Any member of school administration, parents or volunteer
shall report any instance of bullying or act of retaliation witnessed or
that has come to one’s attention to the school principal or school
guidance counselor. Upon received the report the principal or
guidance counselor shall promptly investigate. If it is determined that
bullying and retaliation has occurred, principal or guidance counselor
shall
a) Talk the bully and the victim separately
b) Remind the school and classroom rules
c) Made clear to the bully how he/she is in breach of the school’s
anti-bullying policy and effort should be made to try to set
him/her to see the situation from the perspective of the pupils
being bullied
d) Reassure the victim that everything possible will be done to
prevent a recurrence
e) Notify the parents or guardians of the bully and the victim. If
possible, involve the parents/guardians in designing a plan of
action.
f) Inform the parents of the victim regarding the action taken to
prevent any further acts by bullying or retaliation

g) Record all bullying incidents in an objective and factual
manner.
h) Continue to monitor the behavior of the bully and the safety
of the victim
i) Advise the parent/guardian of their right to make complaint to
the School District Supervisor in the event that the
parent/guardian has exhausted the school’s complaint
procedure and still not satisfied and or the bullying doesn’t
stop.

 Permissible Disciplinary Sanctions and Corrective Actions in
