Life gives various survival challenges for humans, but education guide
human to fight the with failure and get success in life.
EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT in fact Jesus himself learned, one of the only
things we know His childhood is that He grew in Wisdom, as He grew in His
stature-Luke 2:52- EDUCATION IS A PART OF PROCESS
In the book of proverbs a son is exhorted to heed his father’s instruction,
and the application of the knowledge learned is called wisdom- the word
does say a lot about the PROCESS OF EDUCATION and IT BEGINS WITH THE
PARENTS AND THE CHILD.
The command to parents to nurture their children in the Lord ( Ephesians
6:4) it carries with it the idea of training, educating, instructing and
discipline.
The teaching of spiritual and moral values to children is the backbone of any
nation and provides nations with moral stability.
Some thinks that the only source of education to many of children comes
from television and the majority of that education is ungodly and perverted.
THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY RESTS ON THE GOOD BIBLICAL EDUCATION-
IT STARTS AT HOME.
QUALITY EDUCATION STARTS AT HOME

PARENTS IS THE FIRST AND MOST EFFECTIVE TEACHERS UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF GOD.
Parents must realize that quality education starts at home.
2 principles that we need to understand:
1. PRINCIPLE OF PARENTAL PRIORITY
Proverbs 22: 6: TRAIN UP A CHILD:
First Principle: COACHING
Coach- a person who teaches and trains an athlete or performer
Coach your child to choose the right way or to live in a right way.
This responsibility is NOT TRANSFERABLE.
In the bible gives us 2 ways:
1. The ways of the world.
2. The ways of the Lord.
Look at the world today, the situation of family today.
The family is under attack
14 million are solo parents
1 out of 13 youths have already engaged in pre-marital sex.
1 out of 10 youths have become mothers.
21th century especially in our country: A RESPONSIBILITY THAT IS NONTRANSFERABLE
Single parents V.7 Talk to them- educate them to love God by using everyday things.
Wrong values Visible evidence- Practice what you preach.
Pre-marital sex and teenage pregnancy Sign upon your Hand- what you do for hands are the organs of activity
Live in and cohabitation Your deeds are to reflects the facts that you love God.
Gender confusion and same sex marriages Sign between your eyes – thought life your attitudes are to display the fact
Pornography that you love God.
Satan’s goal has always been to divide and conquer families. YOUR THOUGHT AND YOUR ATTITUDE ARE TO BE CONTROLLED BY THE
Using these worldly thoughts: LOVE OF GOD.
1. Humanistic Upon the doorpost and the Gates- The avenues of contact with the world
2. Morality of majority around you, your neighbors, your friends and others.
3. Amoral philosophy
To have a good quality education it starts with you parents.- TRAIN THEM YOUR CHILDREN WATCHING YOU, TO SEE THAT YOUR LOVE FOR GOD IS
TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT WAY AND TO LIVE IT. REFECTED IN YOUR ATTITUDES TOWARDS THEM AND TO YOUR
NEIGHBORS.
Secondly :PRINCIPLE OF MODELING
Modeling is the best and the most effective way of teaching. BEGIN RIGHT NOW IN YOUR HOMETO PUT THESE PRINCIPLES INTO
Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 lifestyle modeling. PRACTICE.
In modeling beware of HYPOCRISY
Results of hypocrisy inside the home
1. Develop callousness and hardening heart.
2. Develop apathy and hypocrisy in their hearts.
The children copy us: THE GOOD THE BAD AND UGLY.
Live in one man principle: WHO ARE OUTSIDE IN OUR HOME SHOULD BE
CONSISTENT OF WHO WE ARE INSIDE THE HOME.
In modeling it is about Authentic not perfection.
Imparting information about God to your children.
Here is declared the responsibility of parents to instruct their children in the
revelation that God has given to us about himself.
v. 7- YOU SHALL TEAH THEM DILIGENTLY TO YOUR CHILDREN.

The Sunday school and the church cannot substitute for the parents in this
realm.
