Education is the most important thing to do for the betterment of the entire
society.
In fact Jesus Himself learned, one of the things we know His childhood is
that He grew in Wisdom as He grew I His stature- Luke 2:52
Education is a preparation for a bright future.
“EDUCATION IS THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON WHICH YOU CHANGE THE
WORLD”- Nelson Mandela.
In the book of proverbs a son is exhorted to heed a father’s instruction, and
the application of the knowledge learned is called wisdom- the word
education may not appear in English form in the bible, but the scripture
does say a lot about the PROGRESS OF EDUCATION AND IT BEGINS WITH
THE PARENTS AND THE CHILD..IT STARTS AT HOME..
“EDUCATING THE MIND WITHOUT EDUCATING THE HEART IS NO
EDUCATION AT ALL”- Aristotle great philosopher
Home is divine school where God is the founder and owner..
The lesson is not only in the textbook but it about life and the powerful
textbook is the Bible.
How to have a quality education in the Home?
1. HOME IS DIVINE SCHOOL WHERE PARENTS ARE THE FIRST TEACHER
UNDER THE SUPERVISON OF GOD.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
A new generation of Israel is gathered on the plains of Moab to hear Moses
review the law in preparation for their entrance to the Promised land.
The previous generation had died in the wilderness Moses BEGINS HIS
INSTRUCTION BY TELLING THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL WHAT IS HOME IS ALL
ABOUT.
This responsibility is not transferable…
The school where the children enrolled is not primary way that a child learn
about life but it is you Parents, You are responsible to teach your child a
basic Education it start at home.
Now!
Proverbs 22:6Train up a child in the way He should go and when he is old he
will not depart from it.
First part of the verse: TRAIN
PRINCIPLE OF TRAINING OR COACHING
Train- to develop or form the habit, behavior by discipline and instruction.
To have Aim. Focus- target
This verse is saying and inviting all Parents to AIM YOUR CHILD IN THE RIGHT
DIRECTION AND THE ONLY SAFE DIRECTION TO AIM YOUR CHILD IS IN THE
GOD’S DIRECTION.
It is the only place where child will find the wisdom, the peace; the guidance
and the light that they need to navigate this life.
Why WE NEED TO TRAIN THEM?
1. BECAUSE CHILDREN ARE BORN WITH AN INCLINATION TO EVIL.
Proverbs 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child,
but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.
Proverbs 29:15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom,
but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother.
Every child has this tendency towards evil.

2. TRAINING OF CHILD SHULD START EARLY BECAUSE OF ITS
CONSEQUENCES LATER IN LIFE.
Education has a tremendous effect on men’s opinions and thinking
habits what children learn in nursery will displayed throughout their
lives.

EFFECTIVE AND INFLUENTIAL TEACHERS. TEACHER AND MOST EFFECTIVE AND INFLUENTIAL TEACHER TO YOUR
To become effective and influential teacher: CHILDREN.
1. BE A GOOD MODEL TO THEM.
Modeling is the best and the most effective way of teaching.

The children copy the Parents: THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
In modeling beware of hypocrisy
Results of Hypocrisy:
1. Develop callousness and hardening heart.
2. Develop apathy and hypocrisy in their hearts
Live in one man principle: WHO YOU ARE OUTSIDE IN OUR HOME
SHOULD BE CONSISTENT OF WHO YOU ARE INSIDE THE HOME.
In modeling it is about Authentic and not Perfection.
Lifestyle teaching help in building a strong relationship in the Home.

2.REQUIRES INTENTIONAL AND HARD WORK.

You must strive to become the best biblically informed parents can be.
Lifestyle teaching is intentional not occasional
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 read in the screen.
v. 7- You must to work hard diligently to put God’s word in your child’s
heart.
3. REQUIRES ALL TENDERNESS, AFFECTION AND PATIENCE.
Love should be the center and golden thread that runs through all your
actions in dealing and teaching the children.
Be affectionate towards them because sternness and severity of manner
causes them to be unresponsive and to back away. it shuts up their heart
and you will wear yourself out trying to find the door.
Be affectionate to them that you really desire them to make them happy
and do good to them.

The question is: AM I EFFECTIVE IN TEACHING MY CHILDREN?
