Subject: Verification of Status of CGP and Captive Users as per UPERC (Verification
of Generating Plants and Captive Consumers) Regulation, 2022-Reg.

Sir,

As you must be aware that as per Regulation 5 of the UPERC (Verification of

Generating Plants and Captive Consumers) Regulation, 2022, the CGP and their Captive
User(s) have to file affidavit before the Commission giving details regarding their electricity
generation, user-wise consumption and equity share holding during the previous year before
15th May of each year.
It has been observed that the said affidavit in respect of your CGP and Captive user(s),
for the year 2022-23, has not been filed before the Commission. In this reference it is
requested to make a submission, preferably by 29h Feb., 2024, as to why proceedings in
accordance with regulation 6 of UPERC (Verification of Generating Plants and Captive
Consumers) Regulation, 2022, should not be initiated.
