Erasmus+ XENO TOLERANCE MEETING Madrid

10-11 january 2017

• Meeting venue: Colegio Padre Piquer. Calle Mártires de la Ventilla, 34

Public transport: metro lines 1, 10, 9

• Public transport in Madrid:

In Madrid, we usually use the metro as the main public transport. To go to Padre Piquer you should
stop at Plaza de Castilla metro station and have a 5 minute walk to the school.

Find the metro map in the following link:

You can also take the bus until 23.00 or night buses from this time. To check for the most suitable
line, go to the following website:

• Accomodation: We would recommend you to stay in an area that is directly connected to Plaza de
Castilla by metro. Our school is not in the city centre and the hotels that are nearby are around the
financial area so they may not be the most affordable option. We suggest you to stay in the following
areas that are not very far from the meeting venue, they are very central so you can walk around
and visit the city if you feel like to, and they are very well connected with other parte of the city by

metro. You can check some of the hotels around Alonso Martínez or Tribunal metro stations, for
instance (line 10).

If you rather prefer to y stay closer to the school you can also check for accomodation in the
following area (metro stations:Plaza de Castilla, Santiago Bernabéu, Cuzco – all line 10).
