Océane : Hello everyone welcome to the best debat show in the world ! Today we will talk with a
street artist and a building owner. Is street art well seen or not ? We will discover it today ! Hello, Ms.
Jackson and Ms. Miller, would either of you like to start the debate ?

Ysé: yes me!

Océane : okay, So I have a question for you, can you give us the definition of street art and why do
you use this art ?

Ysé : Street art is an artistic movement that has been developing for several years now, it brings
together street art in the street and public places.
This art is ephemeral. There can be stickers, mosaic, graffiti or installations.
And for me this art helps me think of something else, it develops my creativity and sends a message to
the world !

Océane : I think it’s cool, but in the case of Mrs Jackson, it’s on her properties and others that you
damaged. Mrs jackon why is street art considered vandalism ? Is there a solution for you and the
artists to continue your activities without any problems ?

Alhassanatou : For me and all the owners, street art is a crime, because our properties are damaged
every day. We pay people to repaint our walls but it is expensive.No, I don’t have a solution for these
people. I just want them to stop degrading my buildings !

Ysé : "These people are artists" We create art, whether you like it or not !
