Excellency, / the principal of / MI MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PARE /

Respectable / all of the teachers / and the participants / in this agenda

First of all, / Let thanks into Allah SWT, / because of his mercies and
blessings / so, we can attend this agenda / with good condition / and
happy situation.
Shalawat and salam, / always be given / to our big prophet Muhammad
SAW, / who has guided us / from the darkness / to be brightness, /
namely addinul Islam.

I am standing here / to deliver my speech,/ the title is / “The virtue of /

fasting month / of Ramadan”.

Ladies / and gentlemen /

We all know / we are obliged / to fast in the holy month / of Ramadan /
as it has also been obliged / to those who before us all. /
As the word of Allah / in Surah Al-Baqarah / verse 183 / meaning as
follows:

Yâ ayyuhalladzîna âmanû kutiba 'alaikumush-shiyâmu kamâ kutiba

'alalladzîna ming qablikum la'allakum tattaqûn

O believers! Fasting is prescribed for you—as it was for

those before you1—so perhaps you will become mindful ˹of
Allah˺. “(QS. Al-Baqarah: 183).
The text gives / a sense to us / that the obligation / of fasting in
Ramadan / was not just to us /, but since / the people before us / or the
people / of Prophet Muhammad. /
Ladies / and gentlemen
The virtue / of fasting p e o p l e / h a s two advantages. /
First / forgiven of our guilty. / When the month of Ramadan / has
ended / perfectly, / the person will be clean from guilt until the end of
the year.
Second / fasting makes body healthier /
