All foreign students are required to read the information provided below and sign in the
box as confirmation to have read and understood.

1. ACCOMODATION
Students are required to provide proof of accommodation before they enter Mauritius. This
can be arranged by the students themselves or use Sagittarius’ student welfare office for this
purpose. Depending on the type and size of accommodation required the student will have
to pay in advance the rental deposit money.

2. STUDENTS WORKINGCONDITION
Once the ‘full visa’ is issued, students are officially allowed to work for a maximum of
twenty (20) hours per week. It is important to note that Sagittarius does not provide any
work to students; and therefore, it is entirely up to the student to look for a job should they
require one.

3. ARRIVAL INMAURITIUS
Sagittarius offers a range of services to students arriving to Mauritius. The composite sum of $ 300 is
chargeable for the following services;
1. Airport pickup
2. Accommodation arrangement
3. Rent for the first month
4. Medical tests as required by the Passport and Immigration Office
5. Assisting students in all matters for the first week including opening of bank account,
introduction to travelling etc
