The Philippines was colonized by the Spaniards for 333 long years and during the

colonization, they introduced Christianity o our country. Catholicism became a cultural

apparatus, not only that they brought Christianity to the Philippines but also making it the
dominant religion. Up until the present times, Filipinos have lived believing in Christianity
which confirmed that the colonization indeed have a profound and deep impact. The symbol
cross is the universal symbol of Christianity across the world which means that the Spaniards
not only influenced the Philippines but a lot of countries. Although there are a lot of different
religions that some of us believed, Christianity is still visible. And just like how it was before,
we also practiced different religious events and continues to believe.
