You are expected to revise ALL the material covered during the FOURTH
FORM YEAR.

For the structured section of the paper, however, you may wish to pay special attention to the
following topics/concepts:

Consumer Arithmetic – Simple and compound interest, wages and salary, hire purchase, profit

and loss, appreciation and depreciation.

Functions – Evaluating functions, Inverse of a Function and Composite Function.

Coordinate Geometry- Types of lines, gradient of a line and equation of a line (parallel,

perpendicular), midpoint and length of a line.

Circle Theorem- angle properties associated with the circle.

Algebra – solve simultaneous equations, calculate missing sides and angles of similar shapes,

solve binary operations, subject of the formula, factorize by completing the square.

Quadratic Graphs – draw the graph of quadratic functions.

Statistics – represent data on various statistical diagrams, interpret statistical diagrams, calculate

the measures of central tendencies.

Matrices – perform operations on matrices, find the inverse of a matrix, solve simultaneous

equations using matrices.

Geometry – sketch bearings diagrams, calculate bearings of different points, calculate angles in

parallel lines.

Construction – construct triangles and parallelograms, construct angles, construct lines.
