off the water of the white Taj Mahal.

solider inside the fort to open the gate.
30. What were the new specifics of the Mughal Empire (Square miles, subjects, etc…)? 1.25 million square
miles, 150 million subjects (1/4 of the world’s population).
31. When the Mughals declined into a loosely knit group, which new empire dominated? Great Britain.

32. While Tipu Sultan wasn’t a Mughal, he was the major barrier to the British. What was the ultimate weapon
used against the British at the time? The Rocket, metal not bamboo
33. What made the weapon extra scary? It had sword blades on the end.
34. How did this weapon affect American History? Be specific. The British copied and used the rocket against
the Americans in 1812 and Francis Scott Key wrote our National Anthem as he watched, “the rockets’ red
glare”.
